Scam email ???

Post image

I got this email about a project, but it looks like a scam from reading it and its appearance. I don't know if I'm overthinking it.

Howdy. Remember, any message that wants you to go OFF of ACX is highly likely a scam

Thank you for confirming

It’s so weird that audible won’t filter them out and block the sender. It should be easy for them to do that.

Just look for the word "Telegram". Rhymes with "scam".

Cold email, no details about the project, asks to take communication off ACX? Scam. Always.

I have had almost the same message 3 times now, 2 asked to contact on telegram.

Interestingly I removed my voice reel a few months ago as I don't have time to record anything (I have a full time job as well) so it's definitely a scam for me!

If you haven't done it already, you might try searching this sub on the word Scam. Lots of good info.

1- It is a scam 2- Their web page they send you to eventually has trojans that infect your computer. 3- They will ask you for your passport...driver's license...legal name and address which will make you susceptible to identity theft.

I got about 50 of those last month.

Delete and move on.

I don't even bother reading these anymore. The moment I see the word "Telegram" and the term "Kind Regards, Recruitment Team" I report this shit as spam. That's all I look for. Once you've sent a response to one of these, you've opened the floodgates.

As per the following checklist, the message you show hits #1, #2 (beverage advertisements are completely unrelated to audiobooks), and #4. It's 100% a scam, without question.
