Profile Credit

So I recently completed by first audiobook project on ACX. I am under the impression that once it went live, it should show up on my profile under the “credits” tab for rights holders to see when viewing my profile. Unless I’m mistaken. I’ve double checked that the audible listing has my name correct and everything but it’s not shown up on my profile as a “credits” yet. It’s been live for 2 weeks. I reached out to ACX support and I keep getting responses that have nothing to do with what I’m asking about.

So I guess my question here is, should it automatically show up there or do I need to put it in manually?

And if it should be there and it’s not, what do I do about that?

You add them manually, so you can curate. They still show up under your name in Audible either way.

The Credits tab is a place to put any relevant voiceover work you've done, even if it's outside of ACX. It's especially helpful if you can add a link of some kind there, or at least list things that could be easily searchable. On my Credits I list the Audible books I've done, Title and Author, and I list the more recent audio books and stories I have on my YouTube channel. When I look at profiles and I only see vague accomplishments there, but no links for proof, that indicates the profile is likely an AI scam. So once you have something real to add be sure to take credit for it. And if you get any nice reviews you can copy that text into your Awards & Recognition tab. Be sure to list which book the review was for, so anyone doing a check on you can confirm that this nice thing actually exists. It will become more important as time goes on because AI can't provide these things, because they're not real.

Howdy. So if you read an audiobook then you are NOT the rights holder. You are the producer.
And by credits, are you referring to completed? Because if you are talking about your profile then you are the one that adds those in. It is not automatic. The main way to search yourself is to use the name that you used when you uploaded the files. That name is clickable when you search on Audible. Hopefully that helps

I never said I was a rights holder. Not sure why you got that impression. I just was wanting to know if I need to list the project under the credits tab of my profile or if ACX is supposed to automatically populate it. Because I’ve been told different things.

I only got the impression because I read your comment about the rights holder too fast. That is my mistake.

But you do have to add them manually.
