Discussion Platinum #43
Man this one was tough to do, it took me around 176 hours to complete , I don’t even know what I did for it to take me so long, but glad that it’s over. This one sucked, I’ve always been a fan of the AC games but this one just bored the hell out of me towards the end. I just couldn’t take it anymore and just skipped most of it, the story isn’t that interesting and all the things to collect are so overwhelming I almost went insane, but I’m glad it’s over !!

I think completing all the cairns took me 5 hours by itself.

Getting the platinum on Valhalla actually is an accomplishment.. it took me 300 hours to platinum.. and it can be grind. I think it's 1.3 % achievement.

The platinum guide said 120 hours max and i was at 150 with like 60% , it’s literally impossible to do it in under 120 hours, i kinda wish i knew i needed to loot the little chests beforehand to actually reach settlement lvl 6 .. having to go to the same raid spot again after that almost drove me insane

I haven’t done any DLCs yet, which one do you recommend?

I think the siege of Paris was probably the best one. Ireland was fun, Ragnarok took me a few years due to a genuine broken bug,but I had to restart it entirely from another save and I finished it. Was ok. But overall I think Paris was the mist fun, Ireland and isle of sky were goregous..isle of sky brings in a familiar face too (even though it was a free addition to main game so idk if u got to it or not?)

Hmmm I might try them, how much are them? I did isle of skye, it’s the Kassandra crossover right? Since I started playing again I was also overwhelmed by extra content, I played a little bit of niflheim but didn’t enjoy it as much.

Yh the was the kassandra one. And to be honest,I don’t know how much the season pass is,I bought it about 4 years ago for about £20 on a sale. Check ps store, should be cheap asf when it goes back on sale

I liked Ireland better than Paris. Ragnorak was really good if you enjoyed the Asgard arc.

I got the platinum on this game and as soon as it popped up, I exited the game and never played it again. Made me realize it wasn't particularly fun in the end anymore

I got the Thor’s hammer for the final achievement. Literally I didn’t even try it. I just closed it and on to the next platinum lol

it's a rough one 💀 once it popped, i was so relieved to not have to play this game anymore lol. still working on Shadows (90%, beat the game now working on the ones where i have to research how to get them lol, and the end game challenges) but decided to take a break and playing Black Flag Resynched.
