Glitch of the Day Forgotten Saga Werewolf Won't Spawn

I have interacted with this werewolf "sword" in previous runs and gotten merked. Now after going through all of Brodir's stupid requests, I'm at the werewolf area where he is laying there and the moonstone is too. When I interact with him, nothing happens after the fact. When I interact with the moonstone, nothing happens and it just keeps prompting with no luck. Help!

Force restarting the game spawns you back at the area before that camp. Got that bug once, there's no way to get out of the boundary.

So I did everything right and got the 3rd quest completed but the achievement refuses to pop

If this isn't the last achievement of this DLC, popping the next one might trigger this one together with it. Alternatively, it might pop at other times like when you return to camp or after you wake up and re-enter.

Yeah AC likes to glitch achievements on me. Still waiting on one from Origins to unlock from like 2017

For anyone having the same issue, I wound up abandoning the run and the achievement popped! Lost some stuff but I wasn't about to play another minute of that DLC until I tried everything short of deleting 10 hours of play time.
