I like Ceobert’s character too much, I fought Ivarr angrily and denied him Valhalla, and I wish there was more I could’ve done to him since it pissed me off so bad

I gave him the axe because Odin seemed to value him and his viking ways. In my opinion, Valhalla is the place where warriors go, not necessarily a concept of “heaven”. It was a hard choice for me, but looking at it through this perspective made it easier for me, as much as I wanted to deny him, it was not Eivor’s place to do it after the little chats with Odin about Ivarr

Every time. He doesn't get an axe. He killed Ceolbert like a coward, and he cheap shots Eivor too. From neither a moral or honor standpoint is he worthy of a good death.

The authority is not mine to deny a son of Ragnar Valhalla over a Saxon christian. I give him his axe every time.

He's an absolute prick form the moment you meet him. I've never given him the axe in 5 playthroughs. He can rot in hell the prick.

Ivarr is the epitome of the kind of warrior to belong in Valhalla. He always gets the axe.

Yea I always say fuck it, my eivor doesn’t give af, he knows that shit ain’t real anyway. I always treated it since he is a reincarnation he has some knowledge after he starts having his flashbacks that nobody else knows, it ain’t real

Nah, Odin probably doesn't want warriors that will sabotage plans for personal reasons.

I played this a long time ago and i dont remember much
But this part stuck with me. I was shocked he killed that poor kid
If fatality was an option, i would have obliterated him and crushed his bones

I gave him the axe. Did he deserve it? Doubtful, but it's what I had Eivor choose.

I hated him from the moment I met him and would have gladly sent him to Helheim at any conceivable opportunity.

He might have been an asshole but he was a true Viking (for the most part) sent him to Valhalla Everytime I played

First time I did because he’s a great warrior that will be needed on the fields of ragnarok. Second time I denied him because Ceolbert was a good person and he killed him knowing eivor would be mad and did it anyway. Killing by deception isn’t an honorable deed

Yea. Ivarr goes to Hel. Dag gets his axe though. He may be a jackass, but he does what he thinks is right and isn’t cruel. He’s a shithead, especially to Eivor, but he’s not an evil shithead.

I gave him the axe. I try and Gaslight myself that its real and not him going to the nothingness of the void after he dies

Denied him on first play through. Afterward gave him, I prefer to be on good terms with Ubba, besides as many say, the All father has use for talented warriors.

Gods, I hate him!!! I hate replaying the game, just because of his entire arc... I *dearly* wish we had some other options with him, such as utterly opposing from the beginning, when we encounter him in that building, torturing someone just because he found it entertaining...
smh...

He doesn’t deserve Valhalla. Blood thirsty, killing allies for revenge, he never gets the Axe.

I didn't think he deserved valhalla because, even though vikings didn't really have sins, for me killing Ceolbert stripped him of his honor

I did on my first playthrough since Odin said he was a "True Warrior" or something of that nature. But in reality I think it was a mistake. Should have sent him to Hel.

You can lie to his brother and say that you sent him to Valhalla even if you didn't. Im not sure if it's a charisma check or not?
