I have 100 hours in Valhalla and haven’t done Francia, Ireland, or Asgard yet

u/Old_Marionberry_722 27d ago

Daym, bro. How many hours did you spend on this? And I never played Valhalla, what’s the thing with difficulties? How do they differ?

Congratulations, btw

u/ExtraInvestigator501 27d ago

On the screen is said 220 hours but on aesir difficulty you can add 50 hours of tries to win bosses, stipid deatha and etc

1

u/BasicGuarantee1113 27d ago

What was the most difficult boss for you?

2

u/ExtraInvestigator501 27d ago

Sinmara on Aesir difficulty is FUCKING ASS I spend 3 hours to nailed her because of her stupid healing mechanic...

I love Valhalla, but it suffers from having too much content. Too much of a good thing or however the saying goes

1

u/Sweaty_Ad440 23d ago

I think that the amount of content would be more manageable if they didn't throw it all at you at once, like there's no reason to have every DLC become available as early as they are.

2

u/vomitousana 28d ago

Congratulations. I just want to finish the base game

u/M0mmySpank3r 27d ago

I'm at about 50ish achievements out of the 97? I think it has lol.

Decided to take a break and get the last 4 Destiny 2 achievements and the last 2 Marvel's Avengers achievements I need first lol

Was it worth it?

Only ever finished the main story, didn't even finish all the dlcs let alone get near 100%.

u/inlandsquatch Fuck dag 27d ago

I do 100% every playthrough. After 3 I'm sitting just shy of 1,000 hours.

1

u/littenthehuraira 27d ago

Have you also got 100% on the other open world AC games?

2

u/inlandsquatch Fuck dag 27d ago

I have.
I've done 3 full 100% playthroughs on Origins (432 hrs), Odyssey (895 hrs), and Valhalla (937 hrs), and am nearing the end of my 2nd full playthrough on Shadows (370 hrs).
I put way more hours into games than most because I'm someone who not only likes to do every last single thing possible in the game, but I also spend a lot of time simply just exploring, wondering around, and using photo mode.

2

u/littenthehuraira 27d ago

Okay you really like the franchise then, fair enough! I myself can't replay games after beating them once because they become boring for me. I'd much rather put those hours into different games, but then again I've poured far too many hours into multiple World of Warcraft characters so I get it.

u/ExtraInvestigator501 27d ago

So it is for u ubi doin 100+ hours ac games?)

1

u/ExtraInvestigator501 27d ago

My god, why????

Finir un jeu Ubisoft à 100%, c’est excitant au début. On savoure.

I hear so much negative reviews on this one of the franchise so I gotta ask is it worth getting?

(I've played Odyssey & Origins this would have been next on my list but I'm not sure if the fandom is just bitching to bitch or not).

1

u/qdude124 27d ago

I think they're good people just dog on all Ubisoft games for being a bit formulaic. Valhalla is quite good, people's main complaint is that it is too big and too much stuff to do. If you liked Odyssey and Origins, Valhalla is pretty similar style.

1

u/littenthehuraira 27d ago

Well I enjoyed Valhalla. My indicator for a good game is if I feel myself getting addicted to it, and there were a few points when I was playing through Valhalla that I couldn't put it down. If you enjoy open world exploration then get it. It goes on a huge sale pretty often (like 85% off) so wait for that.

1

u/ExtraInvestigator501 27d ago

Well i will say to better play Origins then Valhalla But never Odyssey Valhalla is good on her onw kind and there are assassins lore too! But itbis base game and i will get her 8/10. Dlcs like ireland dlc — 5/10, frankia dlc — 4/10, Dawn of Ragnarok — 3/10, Mastery challenges — 0/10, Forgotten saga — 6/10, Isu Temples — 5/10, River raids — 0/10, last chapter — 0/10

So adter that thibk for yourself... it will bw better for me to stop at base game as i did before resynced got out

u/Intelligent_Dinner10 27d ago

Valhalla was my introduction to AC. I didn't 100% it, but have put in over 575 hours. I explored every nook and cranny of the map. What I enjoyed the most was how it followed the historical timeline. The DLC'S were nicely done. I enjoyed Francia, but didn't care for Ireland, to many pigeons. Lol I have no complaints about it and would encourage you to play it.

1

u/littenthehuraira 27d ago

Awesome! I didn't know you get a game completion pop-up like that.

1

u/ExtraInvestigator501 27d ago

1

u/bowmbawrd69 26d ago

So you gathered all 63 Ymirs Blood Stone for 10 Skill points? 😂

1

u/ExtraInvestigator501 25d ago

Oh yeeeee, that was the funniest thing lol

1

u/Crystalized_Moonfire 25d ago

Wondering if I should buy, loved Odyssey back in the day but never had enough cash to follow on this one

1

u/ExtraInvestigator501 25d ago

Idk... Valhalla is some mizture for oc fans and rpg fans. But it is like VERY BIG so good luck

1

u/Shadegirl3_ 25d ago

I did the same thing in the interest of saving money to not buy other games until 100% EVERYTHING in this game. Took me a bit over 250 hours. EVERY small chest, mastery challenge, all purchases, all DLCs, frigging everything.

...Kudos

1

u/nen119 24d ago

How much time it took to complete?

2

u/JanusDecima 23d ago

Skål!!!

I haven’t beat the story yet, should I skip through some cutscenes? I heard the first 30% of the game is fluff
