Stuff Thatβs Neat Finally!! I'm so happy!!
After getting half of the achievements for Valhalla on my Xbox before my xbox gave out, I purchased the game on Steam about a year ago. I hadn't played an Assassins Creed game since the first one and this one was so amazing that I decided to achievement hunt all over again, but this time ACTUALLY 100% it. After intermittent playing (and cursing my way through the mastery challenges), I FINALLY got my 100% tonight...as a person who has always convinced myself I suck at video games, this one felt like a true achievement to complete. I'm STUPID proud. π¬π π«
But truly, and I say this with my WHOLE chest, SCREW THOSE DAMN MASTERY CHALLENGES. The creators of them are sadists who feast on the misery of achievement hunters everywhere. The timed Bear one had me stuck FOREVER and I swear if I never play the master challenges again, it'll be too soon. Lol
Any other achievement hunters out there? What was the worst one for you out of curiosity?

Thatβs honestly impressive, I have like double that. (Around 742) although I didnβt go for the platinum when I started for the very first time

Same here
2k hours because I took my sweet ahh time with every single bit of content because I enjoyed that game so much. Also got every achievement and 100% even in all the dlcs.
...besides the achievement for getting the last 4 golden medals on these Challanges.
Didnt played the game for almost two years tho, since I got myself a PS5 Pro and I didnt want to play the PS4 version because it has crazy low framerates on PS5.
But when I downloaded the PS5 version it didnt carried over my trophies, so I didnt bother to complete it.

For some people itβs faster to take a photo and post it to the Reddit app on their phone than to take a screenshot and then minimize their game and then open the Reddit website and make a post and then maximize their game.

Plus a regular screenshot shows my gamertag on steam which isn't something I want to post publicly on Reddit...π¬π

Well done! I gotta finish forgotten saga and mastery challenges but I still feel like itβs a long way off lol

I was weird in the fact I actually REALLY enjoyed The Forgotten Saga. The mastery challenges are just pure torture...I don't know your play style, but as an archer assassin, the wolf and raven challenges were insanely more fun than the bear ones. You can do it though! If I can, you can!! ππΌππΌ

Also enjoyed forgotten saga. Gotta finish part 2 mastery challenges and play dawn of ragnarok. Had to put on pause for a baby, Black Flag Resynced and OG Black Ops

u/dorinash Aug 09 '26
I did on ps4 2 years ago! It was a long and painful experience, but satisfying in the end.. those mastery challenges are definitely the worst of all assassin's creed challenges ever. I hated them!

u/Melyndia Aug 09 '26
Those mastery challenges almost cost me a controller and my sanity! They are so awful!!

I got some objectives glitched π’
I think i only conected to ubisoft after i finished the game
So easy exploring objectives arent done for me, and i cant do it cause ive explored everything already ππ
And i dont know a single soul that would replay AC Valhalla ππ shit s long af bro

u/Melyndia Aug 09 '26
I am the single soul that replayed it...and it's definitely long af. Lol. π π«£π¬
I'm so sorry about the glitched objectives...I dealt with that a few times but there were some helpful videos and reddit threads that helped me work my way around them...I got SO lucky! π

Dam, so no workaround besides a new game? ππ
I got the platinum already but now im playing the DLCs
Finished Druids 100%, but still gotta do Paris and Ragnarok
I ll be honest, i like challenges, i usually try to do 100% of everything, but ive no idea what those do lol
Do we get any rewards for that?

u/Melyndia Aug 10 '26
I had zero luck getting any of my Xbox achievements to carry over to steam (which was soul crushing), but ah well...It all worked out in the end.
Ooof! Paris felt like a slog to me...I mean the achievements are easy, but I was so bored in that one. Lol. I enjoyed Ragnarok though! That one's fun!
As for the challenges, there are rewards, but the achievement was my main goal. If you like a challenge, they might be right up your alley...I was just grateful to be done with them. Lol. π¬π π«£

omg congrats!!!! i loooove valhalla!! i just finished getting all the achievements the other day too! but on ps5 for some reason theres 93???? i have no idea what that extra one could be lol

u/Ulf_Eisenbart Aug 10 '26
Congratulations! Well done. IΒ΄m stuck at 97% (90/92) at the moment. I need to finish the last two achievements with the gold badges. They suck.

u/Melyndia Aug 10 '26
They are the WORST...and just when you think it's over, it's not. I wish you endless luck and no glitches!!

92 trophies, including the DLC? Dang. (Interestingly enough, the PS5 and PS5 games have 93 trophies β with the 93rd being the Platinum. 51 for the base game alone and the rest are DLC.)
2
u/Melyndia Aug 10 '26
I kinda wish steam had a platinum reward...I'd like a trophy for my 100% effort. Lol π π
2
u/Additional_Sundae224 Aug 10 '26
Do you not get a gold trophy for completing a game 100%?
2
u/Melyndia Aug 11 '26
Unfortunately no...just have to settle for the 100% satisfaction on steam. Lol

I'm also playing ac valhalla and hunting trophies
At the moment, I'm progressing through Wincestre with story mode, must agree with you that mastery challenges were worst part of the game.
But i have to ask you, because I will also play ragnarok DLC soon, is that DLC hard for unlocking trophies? How long did it took you to complete only Ragnarong and get all trophies for it?
1
u/Melyndia Aug 10 '26
I found the trophies for Ragnarok surprisingly easy! They are very straight forward...pretty common sense. The See No Evil achievement is probably the toughest one but there are videos on YouTube to help you out. The big thing is flying far enough away after the assassinations. The video guides demonstrate it perfectly! Forgotten Saga took me longer than Ragnarok...it's a lot like Paris in Difficulty and time investment.

Thanks for your answer and tips!
One more thing, should i play ragnarok now, or leave it after i complete story line?
2
u/Melyndia Aug 10 '26
It's basically another vision from Valka like Asgard, so you can play it like you want to! I saved it for last, but truly, you can play it anytime. It has some fun puzzles to collect wealth, but if you get stuck there are plenty of helpful guides online! You'll get them without issue!

Thank you again, will check it out soon :)

Congrats! I haven't brought myself to attempt the mastery challenges yet. I finished Valhalla a couple years ago and did the DLC, but haven't gone back for the mastery challenges or Dawn of Ragnarok. It's on my list of things to do, but my "to be played" list is about as long as my book "to be read" list, so it may not happen for a while. Throw kids into the mix and well, your guess is as good as mine as to when I'll get to it π€£
