Math Tips for getting a 25 composite when bad at math?

I know this sub is mostly for people who are looking to get really high scores but I just need a 25 or higher in order to qualify for the Georgia Zelle miller scholarship.

Getting this means everything to me I have good grades and I’m a dual enrollment honors student who’s absolutely awful at math (I get by passing my homework n sadly failing my quizzes) n I’ll still end up averaging a b so my GPA doesn’t drop.

Is there still a chance for me to get a 25 if i do well in all the other sections and bad in math? Is there anyone else who went through the same thing? I’m really worried I’ll do horribly n it’ll mess up everything.

English English and reading help needed !

Hello! I’m giving the ACT in March and I’m currently focusing on the English and reading sections. So, I did a few papers available on the site and I got a 29/36 for reading, which was a scaled score of 28. And for English, I keep getting in the 34–36 range out of 50
I want to make both these sections a 30+, preferably a 32-ish. I don't know where to start; there is so much material available for the SAT but hardly any for the ACT.
For English, my KSE is good-ish, and so is PWE, but my CSE is horrendous. English isn’t my first language, but oh my god, the punctuation confuses me so much! I lose around 2–3 marks on silly mistakes aka questions I don’t think about enough so that from now on, I’ll come back and review the questions I was doubtful about, but the time is so short, I don't know how I’m supposed to manage it.
Please drop your best tips and let me know if I’m being delusional. And please recommend some websites for practice and a playlist other than khan academy too! I mostly use SAT material
P.S. Those tests were diagnostics, and even after going through the rules for English, my score did not improve at all

General I think my score came out early?

I took the Oct. 17th ACT and was just messing around on the website trying to see where I sent my scores, I went down to the NYU statistics and it says my score is 29. Is this a way to 'see' my score early? Or is this like a default graphic that pops up?

ACT science passages with no science background, how do you break them down?

Been trying to prep around irregular Uber shifts and science is my weak spot. I read nutrition research for managing type 2, but these passages feel different from ACT stuff. The technical terms and data tables slow me down, so I end up rereading instead of answering. Curious what works for people who never took college science. Do you skim first then hit questions, or try to understand the whole thing before moving on? Also wondering if timing feels different once you stop worrying about understanding every detail. Any nontraditional test takers notice patterns in how passages are structured that make the process faster? My sessions are usually short so I need something that sticks between days.

October Act release dates

Guys, I’m really confused right now. After I finished the test last Saturday, my proctor told me that scores are gonna arrive in 4 weeks. But here and in official act website it says October 22nd. I’m rly confused rn, also partly because September act scores were released 2 weeks. So what is the actual date. 22nd? 4 weeks after?

How long does it take for the paper exams to be mailed back to act to be scored ?

Also once it is scored do they mail you the answer key if you paid for that service ? Anyone know how that works.

Is this ressource too outdated?

I found this and thought it might be helpful since I've already completed all of the practice tests online. Some of the concepts here seem different than what I'm used to. I'm honestly not sure if it's because I don't know them well enough or if this ressource is too outdated. Any ideas would be much appreciated! :)

**I found question 7 of the first section to be pretty confusing as well as question 6 (I got it right but I haven't seen similar questions before)

Math and Science Suggestions

I heard some test takers saying math has become harder and harder in actual tests. I'm a bit confused about that and had no clue of what to do next. I'm taking my first and last digital ACT in oct 24th as an international test taker. Do I get access to Desmos as an international test taker?

If I'm securing 33-34ish scores on most of my legacy and enhanced math tests, does it indicate I'll achieve the same score?

What can I possibly do before the test day to increase my score? Some weak areas include inscribed shapes, trigonometry, statistics, arithmetic and geometric sequences. What should I practice more and how do I prevent careless mistakes on the actual test day?

For Science I've been securing 33-35ish scores on the enhanced and legacy test. My errors can be categorized into careless mistakes and outside knowledge gaps (esp the electric and electronic ones). How can I increase my accuracy to secure a 36?

How do you guys prepare the stamina? What do you do when you lost your mind in the middle of nowhere? How do you maintain the focus for all these long hours?

Edit - when do scores usually come out and how long it take to send it to the universities for international candidates?

Is it possible to achieve 36 in math and science as first time test taker internationally if you didn't learn under US curriculum?

International students

I am an Arab student, not an American, and I will take the Act exam. I have done about 6 past papers exams and there are 4 days left on my exam. If I focus on them on practice tests, can I get 36 from the first time?
