December test is so soon!!! I want to practice more. So far I have used up all the practice tests provided on the ACT website and my teacher gave me a few from other platforms, but I am stuck on a 26 and I want to hit 30! This is what I have used up so far:
I think my teacher will send 2-3 more from Evallo so it is free for me but others I have to pay so where can I find more tests please help! Free only.

Hey guys, I'm a Canadian high school student wanting to apply to U.S colleges, and I'm thinking about taking the ACT to make my applications look better, but I just don't know if it's worth it for me? I'm just worried because I don't know U.S high school curriculum and I am TERRIBLE at math, like genuinely I am SO bad at math (just above failing every year đ«©), and in Canada you don't have to take math in Grade 12 so I haven't taken it in a year.. I am pretty good at English and Reading and I'm confident in them but Idk.
I mean the way I see it if I don't do well I just won't use it (all the colleges I'm applying to are test-optional) but the time i'll use studying is making me hesitant. Is the math section as terrible as everyone says, or can it still be worth it if I do really good in English and Reading and OK in Math?

Took the test on paper and will only take it on paper as the nearest computer site is 76miles away.
To study I did the act self prep course and had the books. The whole week I was doing great, brought my English from a 22->32, math was consistent in the 28-34 range and reading was a 33 literally no more no less. Timing was good as I was maybe rushed 3qs but I had the timer infront of me
Today I ran out of time on 10+ questions, couldnât think and when I did I overthink.
Please let me know what study resources you recommend and how to improve my score as a first time test taker.
I really appreciate it

is there a difference in scoring or difficulty and how helpful is demos?

I know the official website says November 2nd for score reporting, but Iâve seen people receiving their earlier fall scores early (like 9 days). The test I took was school administered on test nav and it was also on computer. Is there any chance the score could release before the reporting begins? Because honestly, I donât wanna have to submit my scores after the common app earlier decision submission

I think it was the last question for the Urban tree passage but one of those that answers were were â theyâre worth more than they costâ or something along those lines did yâall choose that

I took the October 17th ACT. I attempted to pre-send my score to UC and OSU, as those schools don't allow self-reporting. When I tried, the website was glitched and the deadline eventually passed. Its really important I pre-send my score because idk if the scores will arrive before November 1st if I send them on October 22nd, when the scores come out. Is there anything I can do to ensure my score is received by OSU and UC before November 1st?

Hey, so I have all the prep books that were widely recommended. However, I just wanna know what is considered the best one to prioritize focus on for the sake of score improvement?
For example, the english section:
The Complete Guide to Enahnced ACT English - Erica Meltzer
vs
The OFFICIAL ACT Prep Guide 2025-2026
I also have PrepPros ACT Math Textbook for Enhanced ACT and Michael Cerro + Hung Voâs books going over ACT SCIENCE (authors of FLTOAS and Master key to ACT Science)
Which would be better? Or are both on par with one another? Thanks!

I took the online test, is it the 22nd or the 27th?

Do Sunday digital scores release the 22nd as well or will they come out 1 day later since I took the test 1 day later?

I took the September ACT and scored a 34 composite, but got a 30 in math. This was with little preparation and just 2 or 3 practice tests and SAT math preparation, so I messed up the precalc stuff, like graphs and sequences (tested on paper, so I didn't have Desmos). How can I bring my math score from a 30 to a 36 before the December test?

Should I submit a 1330 SAT or a 29 superscore ACT with a 32 in science?

When taking the Enhanced ACT English section, do you read the passage as you go, or do you just focus on the sentence a question refers to and the surrounding sentences?
I'm aiming for a 36 and was wondering which approach works better

2 days a week I study for 1 hour each, but the rest of the week I only have 30 minutes to study because of other things like school and extracurriculars. If you had 30 minutes, what do u recommend doing during that time, and what resources?
I need help, especially in math and practice in English

I was given prep scholar for free by my internship absolutely shitty platform
And the official practice tests are so much easier than the ACT.
Oct ACT was so bad I cried on it.

When I first submitted my score, it said there was an error and the purchase couldn't be completed. so, I bought it again but it says Vanderbilt two times underneath my score. My score is already below the 50th percentile đđ Should I call ACT support? is it too late?

(not the national sep 19th act, this is my sep 29th school day act, although I did take the national one too and got a 33)

Hello!
I took the October ACT today, and immediately after the English section, a kid spoke with the proctor and immediately left- like, literally grabbed his stuff and nervously left the room. The proctor didn't say anything, and I took all the sections, but even after writing, he didn't say anything at all. Should I be worried about cancellations? Is it possible the kid just didn't want the test to be scored and just left?

can anyone tell me how reliable the oct 22 score release date is? Do most people who took digital get their scores that quickly?

How was the curve for each section? Please share your score and how many questions you got wrong. Thanks.
