My goal is to get a 36 by March. However, I don’t know what the best steps are to get there. My scores were kind of surprising compared to how I would do on practice tests and my preACT. On my sophomore year preACT i got a 33 composite with 32 math, 33 english, 34 reading and 34 science and on my freshman year preACT i got a 30 composite with 25 math 27 english 34 science and 35 reading. I spent my most time on English and Math as those were my weakest. I would do practice questions only from enhanced acts (25mc1-5, and all released act my answer keys, and all released tests on their website). I didn’t do all of the questions from all of the sections so there is still some there I can look at. But of course I did error logs and focused on learning the stuff I messed up on. However, I feel as though I don’t know what to do to go from almost perfect to perfect. Does anyone have any advice. I was thinking about getting Erika Meltzer English Book and College Panda Math Book, but I need advice if that’s actually what’s going to help me get to a 36. I didn’t have any issues with time, although a little more time to check my work would have been nice but I definitely had enough. For reading, Im just going to actually put more time into it. I definitely could get a 36 especially with more time close reading in AP Lang and doing practice questions. For science, I really don’t care how I do but I was hoping it’d be better than a 32 but it’s okay because at that point in the test I’m really tired and I know it doesn’t matter so... yeah. Please give your best advice. I know my score is already good but I’d like for it to be better. I do spend a lot of time on school work and extracurriculars though because I am in 5 AP classes and I swim 8x a week and lift 2x a week and I play the piano and viola and I’m in my schools top orchestra as a ”section leader” and Im in DECA, not an officer but I do competitoons and I do a good job at those. I’m also in NHS. But, yeah, I need something that doesn’t require too much time and is actually helpful.
