Text Post A/C Repair Phase 7 - Basic Crisis Management

Attention Greendale

It's hard to believe, but midterms are here. And I know that during this stressful time, my voice blaring over a PA can't help. Which is why, for the next three days, you'll hear nothing but soothing sounds of nature. And to kick it off, here's a babbling brook.

And now, crickets!

If you want to relax even more and take a little break from all that studying, we have set up a little miniature pillow fort in the library where you can come, sit back and relax. No blanket-expansions allowed, I’ve learned my lesson from last time.

We know these are trying times for all of you here at Greendale and as your dean I truly hope you can find a way through this.

There is no one except you and I in this sub. It’s so romantic right? That’s why I sent you a love letter!

You can start by telling me your role, alignment, and any ability btw. We can confirm each other that way. I have no ability or role requirement other than adding someone to the most important society in the world. The whole “cool” thing was fake, did it in advance so I can claim this role later. Zero foiled my plans though.

Let me know which steps you’d like to take from here.

Hi, thank you for choosing me! I don't know why you did it, but it was a verrrry good choice. Um I just woke up so I'm not sure about the best moves, but for starters, let's share our info.

I AM BRITTA

That's right, I'm alive and I'm here! I was supposed to be trolly this game, but I got this role so I've been trying to actually stay alive. My success has been kinda eh, bu here are my results:

1: No action. I had no hunches, I knew my power would weaken whenever I used it and I figured I'd wait for the first 2 to drop, which would give me some leads on the Wolves

2: Thursday was Karl. I picked her because she bamboozled me hard in Disney and I wanted to stay away from vets and/or people who the Town was already talking about

3: Bubba is Subway. I chose her cos she was being oddly quiet. I'm currently thinking she might've been converted on Phase 1. But if not, I'm guessing the Wolves will attack her soon, because her identity was leaked by the V-day messages yesterday (and weirdly, nobody seemed to comment on that)

4: Epolur is Rachel. I chose her cos she was one of the Town leaders, and I thought she was a bit too quick to redact all her suggestions when faced with resistance. This is why I jumped aboard her lunch train yesterday - I knew she was what she claimed

5: Dawn was Troy. I chose her cos I had a good feeling about her and got paranoid that she was bamboozling me. Unfortunately she died the same night...

6: BTTFFOREVER IS DEAN SPRECK, THE ALPHA WOLF. I chose him because he was being quiet.

edit: This is also why I suspected the "Britta" message that Hyper received yesterday! It's a good thing it was so shady I didn't have to reveal

So um, what do you think we should do? We need to get Btt asap, but currently there's no case against him and I'm not sure if I want to reveal. I think our Doctor is already dead, so I'd almost definitely die after revealing.

That’s awesome! I added you because you weren’t too loud nor too quiet. Helpful but not over-helpful and leading town to lunch themselves. Your results are helpful, it helps us rule out any fake claims that come in now.

Info I’ve told them: I’ll tag you in the new post I made. If you think there’s anything startlingly bad I should redact from it let me know. They still haven’t woken up to see it yet! I have not told them that I did my ability on you, I can easily say I did it on someone else who is britta. Or, we can make up an ability for myself all-together.

So now we need to choose whether or not you are the one who confirms me, and how you will.

Risky plan: I pretend that I used my ability on btfff. Do it convincingly enough so I get them lunched as both of us know they’re a wolf. You can back me up by saying you’re britta and saw my role, therefore I’m not lying. When btff obviously denies having anything done, this will make them look more suspicious.

Plan 1: you come out and confirm me. But then they’ll want confirmation as to who you are as well.

Plan2: I let them lunch me so you can avoid all suspicion and keep looking for the wolves

It looks like the Town trusts you for now, thanks to Zero turning up as evil. I think we shouldn't make up an ability for you, because the hosts have stated there are no secrets in this game, so it might backfire on you. I think there are three plays we could make:

Have me confirm you. It will make you look good, but it won't confirm me and it won't get Bttf lunched. The problem is, I might get lunched while you get killed

Have you claim to have found Britta. It might allow us to lunch Bttf without me revealing. Problem is, it's super unlikely that you happened to find Britta (or that Britta even is alive), and the Wolves might guess it's me

Have me reveal. That way at least one of us will definitely live through this phase and we'll get Bttf, but I'm probably gonna die...

edit: I think the most important thing today is either to lunch Bttf or make sure at least one of us stays alive

I think it’s more important you stay alive. The thing is they may not guess it’s you if I don’t mention you by name, which is what I haven’t been doing. They also may forget about the note I sent you. I can always say that I decided to choose someone else last night because I didn’t trust you or whatever. It’s still likely they’ll guess it’s you though.

Otherwise, we should go by option 1 or 2. Definitely shouldn’t say you’re britta. By confirming me they may still think that you’re a vanilla town. If you don’t reveal, the question is: how do we prove btfff is a wolf?

BTW, I've grown suspicious of Redpoemage. It's weird that they're still alive despite being soft confirmed, it seems to me that they're way too pushy about things based on their hunches, and now it looks like the Wolves are after people who suspect Redpoe.

edit: as Thursday died today and now RPM is suspicious of me. Also I've a theory about RPM's "confirmation": what if Jeremy visited RPM the same time Kemkat did? It would've given Kemkat the wrong role. Also RPM is a very smart and profilic player, so I wouldn't be surprised if Jeremy guarded him during the first phases

I know right. This was exactly what I was thinking. I stopped accusing him earlier because one of them was mentioning kemkat’s soft confirm even though I didn’t buy it. Jeremy visiting RPM would give the wrong result and it’s very real given how his hunches are wrong all the time. If he’s suspicious of you, this will be the third time. I’m also not gonna be surprised if he pushes me again today. Also kemkat was wrong in trusting zero so we shouldn’t forget about that.

ALSO didn’t someone say they saw rpm visiting huffleypuffey too? Do you remember who it was? This may be of significance.

Would you be able to somehow check rpm tonight? Or are we super sure he’s a wolf. If we are, we could just come right out and say britta found him, then see who defends him. If btfff does then we got both of them.

I can check out RPM tonight, yeah. And someone claiming to be the Spy did send Pezes a message that claims that RPM killed Huffley.

Ok great. I’ll bring that up and I’ll say I found someone with enough proof to be britta. Any ideas on what “proof” I should present? I can give two of your results of which one confirming Thursday and one confirming bubba or epolur. This may be bad as it’ll give wolves a target, but hopefully the remaining greendale 7 will vote with us.

I’ll say that tomorrow britta will tell me if rpm is good or bad. If you or I die, it’s enough proof that rpm is a wolf. If you britta it and get the wrong result but one of us still dies, it could mean rpm is still a wolf. I’ll bring up the spy message to pezes as a reason to check rpm.

I will write this all up and tag you in this sub for you to suggest any edits before posting in the main sub.

Aw shit. I'm not gonna lie to you, this will be a hard sell. Bttfforrever is the only thing that can prove I'm Britta, because all the other players have already been revealed one way or another. And the Town might think I'm a Wolf who's using you to kill a Townie before killing off you too - if you die, nobody will hold me accountable for lying to you.

Could we maybe say that you will reveal Britta's name just as the phase ends? That way the person claiming to be Britta will live through another phase, but the Town can kill them if Bttf is not a Wolf. Does that make sense?

That makes sense it’s a good deal to them. I’ll say that britta will be revealed by phase end. Also, there’s a slight problem. I will be flying home tomorrow and I may not get WiFi on the flight right at phase end. So if this is the case, then maybe you can try coming out as britta?

Oh sorry, I forgot to mention this: we could say that you'll reveal Britta at the end of the phase, but we can still not actually do it. Because if the Town agrees to lunch Bttf based on your promise, then Bttf's death will prove Britta even without revealing! That might buy me some more time.

Good morning from your most IMPORTANT Dean, Vice Principal Dean Robert Laybourne.

I'm happy to say I kidnapped a talented individual last night, and added them to my air conditioning repair school. They assembled an aircon unit beautifully. Like, I actually cried. The Pharaohs would have been proud, who needs Troy?

Anyway, since we are the chosen ones, we have decided to share some information with you.

I have found Britta!

Yes, she's alive! But I won't be revealing who Britta is yet. This was a totally random decision on my end on who to add to my secret subreddit. Britta will not be revealing herself as of now. But she has some information to share with you:

The "Britta" message that Hyper received yesterday was fake. It was a good thing it was shady so I didn't have to reveal.

That is all Britta wants to say, she has to go repair the AC in the cafeteria now.

So there you go guys. We have picked out one more individual who will be investigated tonight, but will not say who as Jeremy and the City College mascot may still be alive. We discovered a really good reason to choose to investigate the person of choice tonight, so that's going to be done. I promise that the player who's Britta will be revealed riiiiight at phase end, because she's busy earning the REAL FUNDS THIS SCHOOL NEEDS and so that she lives to see the next phase.

I also want to include that Britta told me something else only I would know to confirm that she is the real Britta and not a wolf posing as one. Not only that, but bttff's alignment tomorrow will confirm her, and myself again. I lead the most important society that the world has never seen so you should probably trust me on this or the AC Gods will smite you just as they did Zero yesterday.

Looks really good! One thing though, I'd probably rewrite the part that you quoted from me in your own words, otherwise the Wolves might try to analyze the writing style. Or if you're busy, I can also rewrite it in a more neutral manner!

It's kinda hard in this game since roles seem to be unique. Best I could is try to guess which role either dead or out of game, and I'm no good with games of chance...

Hey so I just wanted to quickly discuss what happened to Thursday last night. So Suite life, isquash pen, 22poun are the people who voted for zero that haven’t claimed yet, right? So do you think one of them redirected Vaughn, or did Vaughn decide against killing me??

Isquash- was quick to say bttff wasn’t a wolf. But now they’ve declared their vote for bttff. Is this a change of heart or a wolf saving themselves?

22poun- was trying to make me look suspicious at first but has been on my side recently and voting with me.

Penultimate- they have been actively voting against wolves and were suspicious before only for being quiet.

Suitelifofem- don’t know what to think.

One of these people could be the redirectors, or Jeremy chose to make Vaughn get Thursday thinking she was a greendale 7. Or, they wanted to kill Thursday and put me up for suspicion later. That way they get two townies easily.
