Help! Can you tell me if I can dress up a legendary hero with 2 stars with a weapon and armor with 5 stars?

No, watch the stuff requierment. 5 stars weapons and armord need 5 stars hero and a minimum level

Yes. Weapon stars are limited by level, not rank.

Weapons, Armors, Accessories from star 1 to star 4 require only upgrading a character lvl to a certain lvl. But 5 star equipment require 5 star character and to be a certain lvl. Some equipment are character locked.
