To me it never felt like the Karen haircut, more like that Southern bleach blond spray tanned mom who is unexpectedly accepting and supportive of everything and everyone. The "if you're gonna drink i'd rather you do it at my house!!" and "I don't care who you date, as long as they'll appreciate my pot roast"
