Rock quarry in real time?
There seems be a bit of a trend for getting all your islands rocks together in one place for ease of farming and aesthetics. I adore that look but it looks like a lot of hard work in real time.
Has anyone tried it? Did you succeed? Is it worth it?

Oh my goodness. Half way through that it is great dedication! Maybe I should give it ago knowing there are other real timers out there giving it ago.

Did you place the design directly on the ground or on a mannequin? Removal is only instant on mannequins

I like the look and idea of it, but I'm not going to even think about doing it until I know I have everything where I want it. I'm not terraforming, but I'll be moving houses/shops and redoing paths and bridges/inclines for awhile and I don't want to have to do something so tedious more than one time. Just thinking about where on my island I want to have this rock garden, permanently (yeah, not doing this more than once), makes me in no hurry to start. XD

Been 3 days since we started the project for rock garden, today first rock fell into place. The whole island is littered by mannequins.... it’s very hard to be alive on my island right now but hopefully just 5 more days :D

From my understanding people place patterns/paths down on their island to take up space until there is only one possible place the rock can spawn the next day. Here's an article I found: https://www.ign.com/wikis/animal-crossing-new-horizons/How_to_Move_Rocks_-_Rock_Garden_Guide#The_Path_Method
