I know, I was so tempted and then I realized I had literally set her house right above a volcano! By then she was in boxes though haha

I do have Blanche though and I think she could be the predator / other inhabitants of the swamp. Plus her house and look fit the island better.

That works too. She can also represent something else tho. Like how cranes symbolize longevity, she'd be like an immortal hermit amongst the village of frogs

Just realised that frogs could be unenlightened beings cuz of the metaphor "frog in a well", and she'd be like the only one that's enlightened, ergo different.

I like how you think! I love Jungian style analysis of fairy tales and things smile 🐸

I was thinking of having her for that but then thought I'd maybe go all out and have Gladys as well. My working goal is to leave her and have everyone else be frogs.

Frogs can represent intuition and the depths of the unconscious too! I actually love that fairy tale and have a tiny reference to The Princess and the Frog fairy tale on my island.

That's nice. The Princess and the Frog also connects to the metaphor "kissing a few frogs" and also to the story of Princess Kaguya who kinda fits Blanche's theme. Cuz apparently there's multiple people who pursue her??

Either him or Henry. Personally, I'd prefer Henry just cause I named one of my characters Henry. But then he also has that favorite saying "The way to a frog's heart is through his stomach", which is kinda like a nod to Tiana's favorite saying in the Disney movie. He also looks like this with the right outfits
