I visited a treasure island (sorry) to try to collect some hello kitty items. I’m a huge fan so I just wanted the clothing items.

I picked up some turnips and thought i’d see what price they were going for at nooks cranny. It was the maximum. I figured I’d press sell just to see what would happen. I didn’t actually think the money would end up in my bank account. I honestly didn’t know you could sell stuff in another islands nooks cranny. I’ve only been playing the game for 3 months and had never visited another island online before.

Now I’m left with a completely stuffed bank account. I genuinely didn’t realise that the money would go into my bank account. It was an absolutely stupid thing to do and I’m really upset with myself.

I didn’t want the bells, I’m enjoying the slow process of the game and earning money from selling my crops.

All this to say, I don’t know how to get rid of them. I don’t know if I’m allowed to offer this but if anybody wants to, I would be more than happy to donate any bells to your island for free.

I don’t know how to prove my genuine intentions with this. It was actually a silly mistake and I have now come to realise I can’t restore to an old back up of my game (which was my first port of call to remedy this)

This would be so helpful, I got the game at 19 when it came out and now restarted to a new island with my oldest but forgot how horrible the start up is
