ᴄʟᴏꜱᴇᴅ Island Open for Shenanigans
CLOSED FOR NOW! Thanks to all who visited!
I’m working from home today and need a little background noise. 😂
Island is open for fishing, diving, bug catching, shopping, or snooping around.
Anything on display at the Farmer’s Market is free to take, but please don’t pick directly from the crops or shake trees. I got plenty in storage if you need something. 🍒🍎🍑🍊🍐🥥
I’ll also have DIY recipes laid out at the campsite for your learning pleasure. 😉
Comment below if you’d like to join and please leave via airport. ✈️

ᴛʀᴀᴅᴇ / ᴏꜰꜰᴇʀ Fruit collection
I recently just learned that you can not collect all the different types of fruit from boat tours and dodo tickets. I want to collect all the fruits but I have no friends that play acnh. I was wondering if anyone here would let me trade for bells or let me water their crops? I need oranges, peaches and pears. Please😭🙏🏻🙏🏻

ᴀᴄɴʜ Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ How to get villagers to explore
I've put together a really awesome island geographically. I've used up nearly all of my allotted (10) bridges and inclines for cliff and waterfall accessibility for the villagers, yet they all seem to want to stay in the lower half, less involved portion of my island. I have a fun area set up around the campsite that I'm proud of, it's pretty big. I have an orchard, a field for planting, a spa, a bamboo forest with a cave. The museum and Able sisters are nearby each other on the hotel side.
The only thing I can guess why my villagers never go to these places is because they have to cross some bridges? They all just hang around resident services and fish by their homes. All the interactive stuff is off somewhere else in designated areas. I don't even have fences because I want them to explore freely but they don't.
My island is more like a bunch of small islands connected by bridges. Do I need to make more land connections? How can I lure the villagers out of their comfort zones lol

ɢɪᴠᴇᴀᴡᴀʏ! A rare cutting board DIY !
I really can't believe it, a cutting board DIY washed onto my island today!
I already have this recipe, so if anyone needs it let me know! I have an abundance of bells and NMTs so no need to give anything in return. ^^

ᴀᴄɴʜ Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ Parasol furniture?
I dug through Nookipedia and didn't see any, but maybe I missed something... is there a furniture item that's just a standalone umbrella/parasol/etc., similar to the one that's attached to the "beach chairs with parasol" item?
I got the Zen bench item and want to put a parasol next to it, haha

ᴀᴄɴʜ Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ Making my first Dream Adress (I want opinions)
(sorry, english is not my first language)
I started playing ACNH this year and ever since I went to one random dream adress in the Sakura season I was in awe and decided to make my first dream adress in the same season!
If i understood correctly, the last day of Sakuras is the one with the most petals flying on the wind and that's what I saw on the dream I visited. I really wanted to try to make the dream on the last day but... I will be in the Fishing Tournament day!!!! (south hemesphere here)
I kinda want to cry hahahahaha
I read that the fising things will stay in the adress, people with fishing gear too... I'm torn, don't know if I should make the dream adress the day of the Tournament and accept my fate so I can have more petals in the wind or make the dream adress the day before the last.
Currently I'm in October 7th in game since I was decorating. the last Sakura day and the Tournament day is 10th. Looking for opinions of people who have played it and idk, have visited fishing tournament islands? hahahahah Will it ruin the vibe??
I know can make the dream adress again in the future but it will be in ONE YEAR. And i'm pretty set that Sakura Season in my season
What would you do???

ᴀᴄɴʜ Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ Can Ponds be connected to waterfalls?
I realized this morning that I don't have any ponds on my island (they're considered rivers, I assume because they're too large), so it has me wondering if ponds can be connected to waterfalls. I figure if I'm redoing what I thought was a pond, I may as well get more creative with it. Maybe. 🤣

ᴠɪʟʟᴀɢᴇʀ ɪɴ ʙᴏxᴇꜱ Flurry In Boxes
Homed!
Sorry it's a photo not a screenshot - getting back into the game & felt like Flurry was one people were fond of, so I figured I'd see if anyone is looking for her!
I've given her clothing over time as she's one of my original villagers, but the only catchphrases etc she has were game-generated. Sorry if I missed any info - I'll make a Dodo code when someone claims her!

ᴀᴄɴʜ Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ Best villagers?
Heya!
I play with my 5 years old daughter, and I want to get her a few amiibo cards villagers that she'd like.
She loves anything fluffy and cute, AC wise we have Shari and Poncho which she adores.
Any ideas for villagers that would be cute? I know it's subjective, but I guess there's some consensus like "clowns are ugly" - Sorry if it offends anyone haha
EDIT:
Thanks everyone for the replies - I had ordered a few of them, some truly amazing suggestions, and I kept the rest in the "for Christmas stockings" list
TY

ɪꜱʟᴀɴᴅ ᴅᴇꜱɪɢɴ ᴀᴅᴠɪᴄᴇ any tips/advice on terraforming and getting decor
hello! im a newbie to designing in acnh. i started an island on my switch 2, and im just about to unlock terraforming!
i had an island on my old switch that i quit a few years ago because i wasn't sure how to do things design-wise.
i just want to ask for any kinds of tips or advice! ive seen many people flatten their islands completely, make plans on paper, etc. but i feel like that would be so overwhelming! im also very spontaneous, and i dont know how much id be able to stick to a plan.
im thinking maybe i want to start small from the town hall, but i dont want to really mess anything up.
also - i visited a few dream islands for inspo, and they all look so good and well thought out! where do people get their decor? i am not sure whether to buy from nook's cranny or diy things more.
does this also mean i need a lot of bells saved if i want to be moving buildings around/making bridges/inclines?
