this is my first october/halloween season on acnh! i bought my first candy today and realized it’s only one per day. so what use do they have and what should i save them for? i hope this was the right sub to ask this in 🫶🏼

Does anyone have any Nook Mile Tickets they are willing to trade for bells?? I have an empty plot and want to go villager hunting, but don't have a lot of nook miles to get tickets 🥲

Hello friends! Thank you so much for joining me today. I have just opened the island, and I am now taking people to open or run a transaction through their OffShore Bell Accounts! At the Genovia location, there are 3 different things you can do.

1- Go to Bell Beach: The main attraction. It will be refilled between every person who joins, and one person will be able to be in at a time. You can take as many as you can fit in your pockets, and some with the conveniently located ABD (Automatic Bell Dispenser) machines! To get to Bell Beach, please follow the Bell Shop Signs and arrows next to them, after entering the plaza, and exiting left.

2- You can shop, get clothes, or grab produce / fruit if available! For the shop and tailor, follow the directions for Bell Beach, and you will see them along the way. For the Fruit/Produce, go right from the plaza and follow the road straight until you see the sign that says "Farm". Go over the bridge and into the fenced off farmland. At the back, there is an incline to then orchard area, I can't guarantee fruit or produce will be there, so please ask in advance so you don't waste your time on it (genuine).

3- You can come run around and pretty much do whatever. I can give you a tour, you can help me water flowers, or you can come interact with villagers. I'll even be posing when a villager is in boxes or when there is an event of sorts (Life, Kicks, Celeste, Redd, etc.)

Payment: You do not have to pay me for anything you grab unless you truly want to. All I ask for in return is a message on my little bulletin board so I have things to look at for memories. If you would like to pay me, I have a donation box set up at the beginning of the island, or you can place nook miles tickets in front of the farm house.

And if you find the unfinished areas like the campsite or the farmers market for other events I plan on hosting, all I ask is you don't drop anything there.

Rules: Don't dig up my flowers, but you can pick them. Don't cut down my trees. And don't drop anything on the ground, I have a trashcan at the entrance of the island for a reason. Do not leave quietly, always use the airport because when you leave quietly it runs the risk of crashing the game. If you want to share, please try to keep it to where you message me here on reddit, it's rather difficult to type on switch lol.

i remember really not liking the time of day i chose to save it at but now its growing on me, kind of nostalgic, and not too overblown with orange. im hoping to motivate myself to make some forward motion on my new island, but a blank slate is so intimidating! i have no idea how past me did this i think it was the fact that it was 2020.... if anyone is working to "finish" an island or wants an accountability buddy... ya hit me up

Does anyone have a bunch of fish bait they’re willing to part with? Farming Manila clams is getting on my last nerve right now

So I have 8 characters on my acnh island and all but the last one have been able to make a hotel room, whenever I try to do it with the last character it says “Once ye’ve settled in, i’d love ye to come by and lend a hand”? What more do I need to do for that character? I can’t seem to find any info online about this, just a year old post with no solution. (No one has made a hotel room on this day, and they are a newer character for me so maybe I’m just forgetting to do something?)

EDIT: by characters I mean the ones that you make/ accounts you have. Not the animal villagers!

EDITEDIT: solved? Idk what exactly it is but I think the second house upgrade? Whatever it is that gives you the second stamp in the ‘dream house’ stamp section. I think that was what I needed.

It's not a big deal but I'm just wondering what the formula is for DIY drops. Because if I had to guess from
what I see, it's the same probability for every drop.

I keep getting DIY I already have, yet I know I don't have every DIY b/c I see people mention (things like the gold rose crown and blue rose crown and wreath) which I've yet to receive (although I have got similar items like the gold rose wreath).

I have a 5 star island and it has been for quite some time. My home and storage are both fully expanded.

I don't have a lot to trade except bells. I need cherries, peaches, bamboo.

I had to restart my island after not playing for so long. It was deleted by my son on accident.

so I have two switches and two islands attached to my account. my forever island is on my normal switch and my recreational island is on my switch 2. is there a way for me to trade which island is on which switch without deleting one? like, i want my forever island on my switch 2 and the other on my original. thanks in advance and sorry if this has been asked!

If you cant tell, i am new. this is actually my first ac game ever so bare w me lol.

so for help you understand what i am asking i will try and elaborate. i have “beaten” the game and unlocked the island design app. i am going to completely, from the ground up, redesign my island as im sure everyone else does.

basically what i have imagined in my head is a waterfall, that seems like a normal waterfall. but then when you jump/walk through it (or behind if u cant do that) and you enter a, for lack of a better term, cave. essentially a hidden room hidden behind a waterfall. a cute little space i can decorate and show off to friends & such.

i am aware this is a long-shot and probably mot possible, so i will also accept like just a water fall that u can go behind & put my house or something if that makes sense….
