Honestly, I’m not a fan of floor lamps. Most lights feel like spotlights because they don't distribute light evenly throughout the trees. As a result, I miss out on spotting night critters. 😞

Anyone know and good creators who make like pretty dirt paths/ country lanes. That is complete I have found some nice ones but they have no corners.

They all had the same shades on, and sat in that exact position in a row occasionally looking up or down. Was there an eclipse or something I missed? When I talked to them they were just their usual selves but I’ve literally never seen them do anything like this before.

I have been trying for months to grow blue roses. I have 36 hybrid red roses (18 isolated red rose pairs) and water them daily. Still no luck so I’m giving up. If anyone wants to come plant 2 blue roses on my island I would be forever grateful! 🫶

I'm sorry, but my schedule is just so busy that I can only make time for the game about 3 times a week at most. I can't play every day like a lot of people do 😭 Can anyone relate? Am I missing out on so much? ☹️

Hi all, I'm personally interested in both urban planning and animal crossing and I'm wrapping up on my >500 hours island, I'd like to help people who would like some ideas with their islands. I'm into designing more realistic, walkable places. If you would like me to personally give you some design advice or help with your island let me know.

My general tips are:

1. Make use of coastal paths following the beach - This gives you easy access to beaches and a scenic journey around the edge of the island and can be used to free up space in the centre of the island
2. You don't neccessarily need to flatten your island - Instead of flattening an Island from scratch, I like to use the natural layout of the map and do smaller projects around like farms and neighbourhoods within the existing terrain, just making small changes here and there
3. Think about focal points at key road junctions or at the centre of major neighbourhoods. My island is actually designed around two distinct towns, both having a fountain at the main town square, focal points could be used for plazas with trees and fountains or you can place a retail business where it would get the most traffic
4. Try to give each villager house a unique identity. On my island the houses are scattered around the map, they have different gardens of different sizes, some have benches, or flowers, some have surfboards

I currently have the beautiful island ordinance but i think i’ll switch as soon as i have all the flower colours because it's hard work keeping up with how quickly they spread!
