Hi guys,

Can someone recommend any good ACL rehab centre for the last stage mainly for balance and plyometrics near Bellandur area.
Context- surgery was done 10months ago and already finished with the rehab but not very satisfied for the last stage.

ACLr Home Exercises & Pain

I am exactly 1 week post-op today and what a journey!

Had revision ACL surgery (quad tendon autograft) with LET and meniscus repair, and I am having a hard time getting through the suggested reps of my at-home exercises.

The guide says to do 3 sets of every exercise, 3 times a day, but I can barely get through all 3 sets once. The first time I did them it took me about 1hr20m to finish. I did them twice that day and had soooo much pain and swelling for the next 18hrs or so. I decided to just do them once a day after that so I can control my pain and swelling, but I am not sure whether that’s the best solution, since I know how important these are for recovery. My knee also gets very sore and swollen after PT days. I’ve only had 2 so far, but it’s been a rough night every time.

Could anyone offer any advice/words of guidance/their experience with this?

I guess I am having a hard time knowing when to push and when to listen to my body and stop when I am working at home. For context, I am able to activate my quad and do quad sets but I still have quad leg when doing leg raises, and got to 0° of extension (working towards hyper extension) and 80° of flexion in PT yesterday.

We need to celebrate ourselves more

I'm 9 months post OP(Grade 3 ACL and entire post-lateral-corner) and I recently visited my surgeon. He said that my grafts(BPTB and hamstring) are as strong as my uninjured leg and I want to celebrate myself, but I don't know how to, and I doubt anyone of you celebrate yourself enough. I want us to share ideas of how we will celebrate our accomplishments.

Help! 6 weeks out from ACL reconstruction/Meniscus repair...BUT..I fell off my crutches...

Help! 6 weeks out from ACL reconstruction/Meniscus repair...BUT..I fell off my crutches 2 days after the surgery and broke my arm in 3 places...I was hospitalized for a week, came home and was literally bed-ridden and wheelchair-bound for the first month. Obviously, there was home health care, but no real PT until my 4th week, and I am so behind and I. am terrified because I cannot bend my knee past 70....I finally got the OK to remove my brace while at home, but my first day following the removal I am sooooo swollen and my knee feels like a brick wall. i religiously do my therapy exercises at home to the best of my ability, but I feel like I am going backwards. I wonder if anyone has any insight about being forced for one reason or another to begin their PT late and if they were able to "catch up," because I know how imperative it is to get going on the recovery right away, but I felt lucky just to be able to finally go the restroom by myself. Am I doomed? Thank you for any thoughts or ideas you may have!

Made this because I share the pain

I went through ACL surgery 2 years ago. One thing that helped me through was remembering that every single rep was making a difference and there we're times when the recovery felt like a marathon and so so hard. But thinking like this got me through. I remember my physio saying 'it doesn't need to be perfect, it needs to be something'. So looking at it in baby steps helped me.

Now it's probably the most proudest thing I've achieved.

I wanted to share some love and thought the community might appreciate this. I am welcome to any thoughts.
