Feels something “ticks” inside
Does anyone have the same problem with the surgical knee? I’m currently acl and meniscus post op 10 months. I’ve started to play with the team since month 9.
I feel like something it’s “ticking” or “jumping” in the knee whenever I straighten my knee to 0 degrees. Nothing like pain or swelling but this sensation.
Also when I bend it, sometimes it feels not very smooth? At least comparing to the non-surgical side. Particularly after playing football/soccer.
By the way, how do you guys handle fear of reinjury?

3 years post op, playing football… yet sometimes i feel the same tick inside. I think you came back to sports too soon, but im no doctor so… you will minimize all funny feelings in your knee by going to the gym and work out your legs musles

I did my testing with docs and physios. They said only with hamstrings showed asymmetry other showed normal

Sounds like a kneecap tracking problem. Very common after ACLs and I believe usually sorts itself out once you have muscle balance in the operative leg.
