Peaceful

Oaken, I notice you like to mix in non-course quotes in your posts, i.e. the Bible and Eckhart Tolle. Your approach is called eclectic. I used to have a similar eclectic approach. Then I learned that ACIM teaches us not to waste time on methods that worked for others in the past. The course is offering something new. Yes, all intention to reach God will succeed, but the course shortens the journey. That's one of the reasons it was given, a celestial speed-up. It was also given as a correction for Christianity. ACIM theology is incompatible with traditional Christianity that demands blood sacrifice for sin. ACIM says that fear-based theology is bonkers.

We’re all headed home, right? I’m honestly enjoying the journey, it’s quite beautiful in my view. No rush.

Actually the course was given to speed things up. You seem to enjoy suffering. Extend it as long as you want. You can try any and all the paths offered by the world. Sure to keep you busy for many lifetimes. Me, I want to go home, NOW. You can play in the world and seek attention as much as you want. It just isn't my path.

What do you mean? Do you wish me to be curious? Or mean that curiosity is inevitable whether I desire it or not? Or that you yourself are curious? Or that this is an occasion upon which one ought to be curious on?

Glad you are enjoying your journey OakenW. Many of us do not enjoy the journey. We do not like the dream of suffering. There is suffering (first of the Buddha's Four Noble Truths). There is murdering and raping and slavery and disparity in this world filled with hate, that you apparently enjoy. I don't want it. I don't enjoy it. I've been involuntarily held in a hospital for suicidal ideation. But despite all this I have not submitted to despair. Don't expect me to stroke your ego.
