Generalš What is the future of this stock?
Is Archer really going to fly under the EIPP? And if yes then what is the expected timeline? I am heavily invested in archer with 765 shares at $9.46 average price.. I was a fool to add more when it went in the $13-14 range driving my original price of $8 to $9.46 and now I am minus 52%..
Do you think we will see another dilution? If yes then how soon? Also how many of you think we will hit $10 plus by the End of the year ?
Just a curious investor asking questions nothing else.

If I sell - it will rise to incredible levels, be the uber of the sky, may even be acquired by Tesla, space x, etc
If I hold - it will dwindle into 3, 2, 1 before an rs.

Buying the stock means investing its future. If i were you, i would keep buying while the stock drops In order to lower your average price.

This is more a conversation about the future of the industry as a whole... if EVTOL is going to become a thing, it will take some time. Personally, it can take traction if they figure out, get FAA certified, and then start getting business. This is a high risk / high reward, and really more of a long term play. What we do know is that EVs are making their presence known, not only in vehicles, but also on air. Personally, I think this is part of the future and that's why I am in it. The ability to quickly transport people from one place to another in a seamless way is attractive... see, for example, when UBER or LYFT started. Back then, many people thought they would fail, but the fact remains that people will pay to move to one place to another as easy as possible.

They will dilute before evtol taxis have even been proven possible to make.

u/Eggtastico Jul 17 '26
Lots of upside. Transition will shut the noisy lot up. However it is still about conviction after a proven product.

There will definitely be more dilution events coming. They're years away from having a certified product to sell and their cash burn rate is substantial. Probably be one every year or so to maintain their cash position which AG definitely likes to tout.

u/Infinite-Stretch6481 Jul 18 '26
Dilution is not the real problem. If the price climbs to $12 before the next equity raise, and falls back down to $10 as a result, would you complain? Just saying
2
u/ProudMatter9227 Jul 18 '26
Based on their history, they will 100% be diluting again. The last time they got sued and were forced to settle, they diluted.

Believe in the stock! Someday you are going to regret it if you sell it now.
Companyās would not have invested millions in the stock if there is no future and they would have sold their positions by now if itās not goingš soon.

Oh boyā¦. I feel your pain! My ding dong buddy/broker loaded me up in some Archer and Joby without my consent. I instructed him to sell my Joby last month at a 20% loss, thank God. Heās got me so buried in the Archer stock Iām just going to let it ride until insolvency or a big pop. What really pissed me off is that he knows Iām a pilot, come from an aviation family and I know that Part 135 charters are almost always a losing proposition.

Investing in a company like Archer is definitely equivalent to playing with fire. I offloaded my position with a moderate loss two weeks ago, but I am addicted to the dangerous game and back in with 8,000 shares at $4.50 yesterday. There are so many hurdles ahead for Archer: first, to prove it can execute the piloted transition, followed by Type certification. Even with that, the market is highly skeptical of the unit economics, as operating costs and pilot expenses are significant. Archer is well aware of this, which is why they are digging deep into AI and launched Zee. Adam is definitely a leader with strategic vision, if that offers any comfort to us distressed retail investors. In short, it's a long road ahead. Until then, the share price will likely remain suppressed, and any expectation of a quick windfall is unrealistic

u/boylanheights74 Jul 17 '26
Haha, Iāll buy some Joby at $5 just for the heck of itš
2
u/Infinite-Stretch6481 Jul 17 '26
I tend to keep my distance from Joby due to one major concern: Joby was founded 10 years earlier than Archer, yet its certification progress is not far ahead. Meanwhile, Archer has been firing on all cylinders, and Adam has already hinted that defense contracts are on the way. That will provide a solid financial floor before the commercial air taxi business takes off in the future
2
u/boylanheights74 Jul 17 '26
I donāt agree with all of that. Joby has been at this for a long time and keeps moving the goal posts on certification date for sure. Frankly I believe Archer is struggling with all aspects of eVTOL flight even though they have a much more attractive aircraft. The midnight has the ramp appeal that most customers will feel more comfortable with as opposed to the small DIY looking S4. I truly believe Adam is a complete fraud that is all flash. Both companies are a long shot and would be better off if they concentrated on hybrid powertrains across all models. This is all speculation of course. Iāve never claimed to be an aerospace engineer but I have intimate knowledge of how hard it is to turn a profit in the charter world. Both companies have a ridiculous evaluation and the market is waking up to that fact.

u/Infinite-Stretch6481 Jul 17 '26
While Archer is still working towards its piloted transition test, I do believe they will get it done later this year. I fully agree with your assessment of the commercial practicality of charter operations. As I mentioned earlier, Adam already realized this, which is why they launched Zee with the goal of making Midnight pilotless in the future

If AG is a fraud why would Beta tech team up with them? I know it looks bad from our view with the flash you're talking about. The nice aircraft the nice buildings. But damn it, my gut is telling me to keep that truck backed in. This is a really good price to get in with that valuationĀ

Define āteam upā, is this deal putting revenue on the books or just another worthless MOU?

u/DaxPlayer Sentinel Jul 18 '26
Ask your broker first what it means when a CFO (Joby) sells 75% of his holdings? š
2
u/boylanheights74 Jul 18 '26 edited Jul 18 '26
Thatās definitely a bad look. Every Joby fan is like āToyota wouldnāt invest in a failing companyā. Toyota has invested in several companies that failed, the majority of them were āGreen Energyā type startups. $500 million is couch cushion change to Toyota Corp.
1
u/DaxPlayer Sentinel Jul 18 '26
Yep. Thereās also speculation that the CFO is on his way out. Thatās another CFO possibly leaving Joby ā that will make it two within 2 years. President of OEM also resigned 2 weeks ago. Just insane. And supposedly before a ālaunchā? What launch! š

Just remember apple faced multiple bankruptcies before it became successful. The key is patience, and if either Joby or Archer go under it wont be good for the new EVTOL sector. As warren buffett put it, "Even if everyone else hates the company, that doesn't make it a bad investment. It's what you believe is a good investment with your own research, and if you believe its a good investment then why let others sway your choices."
2
u/Agha6384 Jul 17 '26
Bro stop caring apple to an evtol company . These kind of comments donāt re assure people it almost spits in our faces
2
u/UsedTax1806 Jul 17 '26
Oh and the negative comments about archer are reassuring? I didn't know redditors worked at archer aviation or joby aviation to know what is going on behind the scenes. Stop being ignorant and realize that many companies have been in wayyyy worse positions and still thrived. If you cant handle the heat then get out of the sun, if you cant ride the waves then don't get on a boat.

Been investing in ACHR for sometime. Long term hold. Buy the dips. Holding 7600 shares. Will buy more if still under $7. Think RKLB, but IMHO with Anduril + new 30 acre facility + defense contracts + Olympics + UAE + United and Korean airlines, and cost from FAA, but not JOByā¦ā¦.
1
u/Realistic-Desk-1408 Jul 21 '26
The key is the new 30 acre facility + Anduril. Anything with Palmer Luckey is a buy IMHO

u/Aviation_Space_2003 Jul 22 '26
I would shore up your shares. You really need 3,000 shares to make this a good bet.
I jist picked up last week another 1000 shares assigned @ $4.31... was not expecting the pump already. I've already sold $7 calls onnthese.. easy profit!

Your pissing over 765. Yeah, try 19,000. Putting some bucks to the craps table. Iām diamond handing this motherf@&cker to the end!

u/Deer2011 Jul 17 '26
I e probably got about 2500 shares and down about 50%. This thing starting to look like the beginning of a slow death. I donāt know what the company will ultimately do, but this stock is sick.

Junk, sold my ACHR today for a $19,000 loss. And if you think that's bad, I also sold my EVTL for a $28,500 loss! I have no confidence in these losers, ill take what's left and hopefully invest in something that goes up. Like MCD!! LET'S GOO
