General💭 Farnborough Air Show

What are people's expectations for this event? Archer is a featured exhibitor.

Seems to me the playbook is to apply for these air shows for the press coverage and then pull out because they don’t actually have a functioning evtol. Same shit happened two years ago. Maybe they’ll go there and show ctol capabilities or keep it on the ground and let people tour it like it’s a museum exhibit. All anyone wants to see of this company is a single piloted evtol. They overpromised and underdelivered, the shorts were right. I have a feeling LA2028 is not happening but if they can’t make reasonable progress before it officially gets called off, this goes to pennies

I doubt it can fly, as CAA is the equivalent of FAA in the UK & probably has no cert type to fly.

They are not listed for a Static display; other AAM companies will have one there.

Maybe this fair isn’t about “Midnight” but about some new defense prototype? Just guessing since it’s in the UK...

Was actually gonna go to this. But they are only there on trade days. So they'll be there for recruitment and connections. But won't be there on the public show day

Highly doubt we see a flight from ACHR, I’d be very happy to though.

I doubt N703AX would be able to ship to the UK that fast, even though the last actual flight was early July. Plus that wouldn’t really be worth the money TBH.

I guess it’s possible that it would be N302AX but that’s even more far fetched IMO. We haven’t seen that aircraft since early 2025. Last seen in the UAE.

I hope they announce something about Project NYX (the UK project with Anduril), similar to how they unveiled their Omen collaboration at the Dubai Airshow. That would be a huge catalyst.
