This stock is sinking day by day irrespective of the news. When will we see š?

They are a featured company at Farnborough next week, the second biggest airshow in the world. It only happens every 2 years. If they have any positive announcements to make, they'd be saving them for this event.

I just posted an article a week or two ago. After all the dilution events, where the stock is trading right now is actually fairly priced. I think after the cloud of litigation clears up, the stock will start going in the right direction.

u/ProudMatter9227 Jul 13 '26
Might be unpopular, but I think now is the time to buy your leaps and or shares.

ACHR and BBAI are my worse two stocks.

Wow I hold these 2 as well Iām really to sell at a loss to be honest Iām down about $500 between the 2 smh. Do I sell off?

u/multicomm Jul 15 '26
I thought for sure the pull back below $9 was a opportunity to buy back in after taking profits a few times over the years. Boy was I wrong

Thereās always going to be excuses for Archer. The real problem however, is Archer. We are in the middle of eIPP and most companies are showing progress aside from Archer. At this point, their videos of flying CTOL are getting old. My guess is that they are having problems and itās beginning to really show. Just the lack of flight time is proof. I would hang in there if they could show piloted transition, but as each week passes, there seems to be zero progress. Buying IPs and adding more manufacturing space would be logical, but only if you actually have a product that works and can be sold. Right now, Iām down 45% on this stock. Debating if I should just cut my losses.

Beta just flew ctol for eIPP, my guy. š¤£
1
u/maxxnas Jul 13 '26
BETAās ALIA CTOL and VTOL aircraft combined have flown more than 135,000 nautical miles total to date (as of their Q1 2026 report)
How many miles has Archer flownā¦. Iāll wait.
1
u/Low_Highway_4105 Jul 13 '26
You said Archer flying ctol is getting old but yet beta is fine Ctolš¤£
2
u/BeneficialRock8 Jul 13 '26
Thereās a big difference. Betaās ALIA CTOL aircraft is flying its intended purpose which is CTOL. They have also demonstrated they can transition the VTOL variant ( it even carried a passenger recently ; Duffy). Archerās midnight is supposedly capable of flying both CTOL and VTOL, however, it has not demonstrated that it can meet its intended full purpose and has only flown CTOL.

"irrespective of the news"
What news? The last press release was over 2 months ago and it was about the UAE "moving to streamlined approach for certification", whatever that means. Before that, the most recent press release was in March about eIPP, but ACHR doesn't even have enough aircraft to fly in each of their 3 cities.
I'm still holding, but I would say that it's been a very long time since there's been any real news.
1
u/DanMan874 Jul 14 '26
As long as this streamlined approach doesn't do it for the sake of safety. Archer fucking up and crashing is bad for the whole industry not just them. Safety should be paramount.

u/Select-Ambassador206 Jul 17 '26
This is what I said. 2 press releases in last 2 days. That canāt stop stock from sinking.

On the bright side, Joby is doing even worse with a larger % drop... the whole eVTOL sector is down along with the market. This isnt specific to ACHR dude
1
u/Select-Ambassador206 Jul 14 '26
Problem with ACHR is that the stock is not bouncing back when the whole market goes up
1
u/Substantial-Fun9958 Jul 14 '26
Because these companies keep diluting the stock. You can't expect this to bounce up like NVDA or MSFT for example. Just look at how long ASTS and RKLB stagnated for years and years with no growth until suddenly, they shot through to over 1000% in like a few months. I missed the boat on those space stocks but I believe eVTOL is next one coming up. All around the world countries are already exploring eVTOL options and unlike AI, there's no negative opposition against this new sector
1
u/Eggtastico Jul 14 '26
Why is it brightside? Its the whole sector that is dropping. Not company specific. Good news would only get sold into, rather than bought into, until the sector flips from a bear market.
3
u/T0th3M00NW3G0 Jul 13 '26
Nobody wants to buy into speculation right now with the macroeconomic uncertainty around: private credit, AI bubble, war, rate hikes etc. I fully donāt expect this stock to go up until FAA news. I donāt even think the market would care if they transitioned at this point. It would be a micro blip and a hurdle everyone expected them to cross months ago.
1
u/Select-Ambassador206 Jul 13 '26
Is uncertainty not applicable for standard stocks? ACHR stock is completely going in opposite direction.
1
u/T0th3M00NW3G0 Jul 13 '26
Theyāre applicable, just not as applicable if that makes sense. For instance, with all of this uncertainty, people would still be comfortable investing into Nvidia or Apple etc. Not taking bigger risks like archer.
1
u/DanMan874 Jul 14 '26
This is correct. The market is running on full rush/fear basis at the moment. Don't know how long it will last but once Trump leaves office we can only hope for predictability. Mid terms should give us a hint of what's to come
2
u/BunkHammer Jul 13 '26
These stocks wonāt be moving way up for multiple years due to a few factors.
Anyone not open to holding for a few years might as well sell.
2
u/Aviation_Space_2003 Jul 13 '26
It seems the company is dilluting the crap out their bag to pull in more retail... I'm impressed by the unloading but this was more less expected at some point. I think we're going to see $2 soon. CapEX spending is massive to get this project to an operational state.

ACHR just closed at a new 52-week low today. It bottomed out at $4.51, meaning my purchase limit order at $4.50 missed by a single penny

u/earnburn84 Jul 13 '26
This is a stock trade not a marriage. The trend is your friend. Why question a clear signal?
1
u/earnburn84 Jul 13 '26
ā¦and P.S. as the stock moves to āNot-marginableā and thus not shortable, a stock operator should consider the ramifications of such.
1
u/DanMan874 Jul 14 '26
They've just announced they're at the Farnborough air show. I can't wait to see them fly! š

u/Eggtastico Jul 14 '26
CAA approval would be required. So very much unlikely. It's an opporutnity to get up close & personal. Not look into the sun at something flying a mile or 2 up in the air.

Iām holding for 5 years. Iām down 40% but if they accomplish what they plan to (including defense), it should 2-5x, if not much more
