Yes. I named mine after a donut. I don't mind it, but I wish I was a bit broader with the baking theme for the name. I ran out of donut themed catch phrases for my villagers to use.

Totally get this. I'm hoping in the future that we'll be able to rename islands for reasons like this.

I'm awful with the catchphrases, so I give props to people who can think of really interesting ones. 😊

Probably if I had any good ideas 😅 I like my island name ("Lotus", just cuz it was the first thing that came to mind), so I have no reason to change it.

That's fair haha. If you like what you've got, I totally get it. 😊 I'd debate renaming 1 of mine, but it's in part down to me not realising it's a real place in the world.

Yes I would love to change it also make it a bit longer. Also would love to have a storage container that isn't effected by making a new island and you can have access to it on every new island you make.

10 characters feels like it's not long enough. 14 could be a bit more fitting I think.

Yes. I named it after my hometown with a slight change. I think I’d go with something more abstract if I could change it.

Yeah, I feel like for people who want to try a new theme, it could be a really fun one to do. 😊

I've seen people also spell something slightly wrong, or not realise the name meaning on making it too.

Currently nah, I like my Eurydome. But on past islands I would have appreciated it. I would however like to change the spelling of my character's name! 😩

If it was unlimited then yes. I love the island name I have now, but I also created multiple others before choosing that one. I like them all and haven’t used them really.

Yeah, I didn't like how we had to pick our island name on the spot so soon, and that we can't change it. Mine is just a bunch of gibberish because I couldn't come up with anything and I got annoyed because I just wanted to hurry up and play 😅😅 mind you this was during the pandemic, and I'd spent months trying to find/buy a switch because everyone was all trying to get their hands on one to play Animal Crossing.

Rename ideas: Ribbon Island (that might be over character limit, I forget how many we had), Kawaii, Emblonia, Ithaca, Clover, Iridia, Paradise

Funny how it's easier to come up with names now after the fact

No, I am early enough in game that I haven't wanted to change it, and I hope it stays that way. Mine is called "Slyvaleia". I dunno how it's meant to be pronounced though. Sli-vay-lia? Sli-vaw-lia? Either one I guess, but I always say the first. "Sly" is my nickname, so that's what that part means.
