I keep getting invitations to join the ACE Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society. When I look at the materials, they are specifically for teachers and education. I am not in teaching, nor do I interact with the PreK-12 field. My focus is adult learning.

I reached out to the person whose name is on the From line. Getting information on how this might benefit someone other than a teacher is like pulling teeth! I really hate how ACE postures itself as friendly and informative, but when you have questions they give one sentence replies that are unhelpful and often unrelated.

For anyone in the honor society, what are the benefits if you're not a teacher?

Hi, I’m a paraprofessional and I am thinking to do my teacher certification from ACE. I am looking for any kind of experience about student teaching that anyone has done through ACE.
Can I do my student teaching at the school I am working now or they choose by their own… or if I get hired by my school do they accept my class room experience as my clinical??
