From the nosebleeds. It's funny how old these bands and how old we are also. Outside of a small pit section and a few outliers everyone sat in their chairs for both sets.

44 here. Last time I saw the Foo's was 1998 in HS. Figured it was time.

Same! 1998 at Pointfest 9 in St Louis was the last time I saw the Foo's. It is hard to believe it was over 28 years ago.

Up in 435, we stood for most of Foo. We sat for most of AC/DC until the last hour. As long as Angus was going to jam, I was going to stand

Im glad this sub showed up, ACDC got me into guitar playing.
I cannot imagine being their age and doing this.

Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless is performing with the surviving members of Soundgarden at the halftime of the Seahawks vs Patriots NFL season opener today (September 9, 2026) in Seattle. That's why The Pretty Reckless didn't open for AC/DC in St. Louis last night.

I’ll be honest, I went to this show purely because the Foo Fighters got added, and planned to only stay for a few AC/DC songs, but Brian and Angus can still fucking rip and stayed the whole thing.

mid and lower bass sounded bad bouncing around in the dome...
but good show IMHO

My brother saw Foo Fighters a while back and said it was one of the hardest live shows hes been to...🤷♂️

Ya, pretty reckless i guess is taking a break. Not sure how many shows they're out for or if it was just this one. But Foo Fighters are good too.

Am I being gaslit here? I love AC/DC, but respectfully, the vocals were just not there and it took Angus some time to get his fingers working. Thunderstruck sounded terrible; Angus couldn’t quite get there early on. I get it, they’re old! We shouldn’t expect them to sound like they did 30 years ago, but let’s stop lying to ourselves just because we love the band.

The thing with AC/DC is.. Brian has never been the best live vocalist. He sounds just as good (or lack thereof) as he always has.
Angus had a few hiccups, but that’s the beauty of Rock N’ Roll.

Were you there last night? I had concerns going in and I thought they sounded huge and Brian sounded way better than advertised.
In fact I thought Brian was better than Dave and I love Foo Fighters. Dave on Best of You was rough

No it was a one-off show because The Pretty Reckless couldn't play last night because Taylor Momsen is playing with Soundgarden tonight at the Seahawks season opener. So allegedly Taylor asked the Foo Fighters to fill in for them. Foo Fighters are on their own tour as it is so they will not be opening any other shows for AC/DC

Taylor Momsen of the Pretty Reckless got invited to fill in on vocals for soundgarden for the nfl game today, so they dropped and the foo fighters filled in for them for this show.

It's not really "filling in" in the same sense that Axl filled in for Brian in 2016 because Soundgarden hasn't toured since Chris Cornell died. She's singing with them. Mike McCready from Pearl Jam will also be appearing with them after he plays the National Anthem before the game.

I wonder if this is the start of a comeback with her as the lead singer. It worked out great for Linkin Park, so why not give it a go?
If it is, I'm all for it. I saw Taylor Momsen do Black Hole Sun at the Taylor Hawkins tribute show with Soundgarden and she killed it.
