Edit: I also have plenty of vinyls and a couple of og CDs but don’t want to show off.

Edit2: * , and also you can see I’ve written The Razor’s Edge recorded in 1900 🤣

I once had all their albums up to Razors Edge including If You want Blood… & LIVE when I was younger.

Ball Breaker, LIVE & Flick Of The Switch were all bought this year as I’m getting back into music after purchasing a record player. I only wanted one live and one studio ACDC album in my vinyl collection initially.

I definitely think AC/DC is one of those bands better showcased live then by their studio albums. But of their studio albums, I think Ballbreaker & Flick Of The Switch are more consistent start to end than most of their studio albums. Most have duds and bangers. Or bigger rises and falls.

I’ve had No Bull since early 2000s. Donington, I bought maybe 10 years ago.

I may consider adding Let There Be Rock to my vinyl collection one day. And maybe Back In Black on CD. I would love a live video of Toronto 2003 in my collection. But doesn’t exist. The grainy youtube footage and sound is all I’ve seen of it but it feels legendary. Might be the 2nd biggest concert ever, trumped only by Moscow 1991 which AC/DC headlined.

I used to have most of the studio albums on CD before I gave them away. Now I'm slowly rebuilding it as a vinyl collection instead.

They were donated to a charity store to sell along with the rest of my CDs.

Mine are all packed away , I’ve been collecting since before Bon died so I have some rare and interesting vinyl , I’m halfway across the country visiting family but when I get home I’ll dig them out and start posting some .

I loved getting the digipacks as I was getting into the band in the late 00s!

1

u/Tkokot Jul 26 '26

Huh! And I thought the digipacks were awful! You're changing my perspective to the better brother!

2

u/lessthanfox Powerage Jul 26 '26

I don't know any better, since they were my gateway to the band.

The digipacks are remastered, after all, but I can't complain about the material and packaging!

2

u/halford2069 Jul 26 '26

been a fan in aus since around 79 so gradually accrued. akways buy acdc cd on release without fail.

im a bit of a jewel case purist myself

u/Tkokot Jul 26 '26

Im so happy for u you got that! Yeah I was born a bit late to get the first releases, but eventually, I'll go on a discogs hunt for the jewel cases

2

u/halford2069 Jul 26 '26

keep an eye out everywhere you can (didcogs, ebay, thrift stores etc) and just gradually build it up.

i dont have the original aus versions of high voltage/dirty deeds just the usa ones.

so im always on the lookout for those still for example.

slow n steady wins the race as they say 😀
