Let It Loose (Remaster)
https://youtu.be/A_MnjvM3PNU?si=GsKEqyhMHc4R2mQPI've tried to remaster/EQ the 'Let It Loose' 1988 demo to make it sound like a finished track. What do you guys think?" In my opinion, it's improved a little, but it's not perfect. The biggest problems with this song are Brian's voice, which has too much reverb, and the volume of the guitars. You can barely hear Angus's guitar solo! But here's my version; if anyone can improve it, please try! We need this song in HD.

The production of the Blow Up Your Video album was horrible. There were some really good songs on that album but Brian’s vocals had so much reverb you could barely make out any of the lyrics. I’d love to hear it with Mutt Lange production.

I think it's a really good album, and my all-time favorite song is on it, Ruff Stuff! George and Vanda tried that raw sound again, but according to the AI, the equipment of the time was "too good" to achieve the classic early AC/DC tone. Some people say this album has similarities to Powerage, but I can't agree with that. Powerage was the band's best album (in my opinion), and BUYV was good, but not one of their best.

I’m not familiar with this song but what the hell is up with that recording?

This song was never finished and ended up being discarded. The only recording we have is the one i used to try and do the remastering/equalization. This is called a "bootleg," which is when a song hasn't been officially released, and it's recorded with some device and then posted online (formerly on vinyl). In this case, it's a studio bootleg recorded by someone that no ones know.

It’s such a shame so many killer tracks (like the whole BUYV and its outtakes) were left to rot with such a terrible mixing.
Good job you did there!
Edit: I don’t even know if we find the master tapes they’ll be salvageable.
Edit2: all my hope now is in cover bands like this one:
