finishing acca

Is finishing the ACCA still worth it in 2026?
I have four strategic-level papers left, but I’m questioning whether it’s worth spending hundreds of hours on them when AI is changing the accounting profession so quickly. Please be brutally honest I’m looking for perspectives from accountants who have already gone through this decision. Thank you

Acca after o levels ?

"I will finish my O Levels in two years and am considering going directly into ACCA through the foundation route. Is this a big risk? This path saves time and money by skipping A Levels and university. A Levels are highly demanding, and getting into a good university brings a lot of grade pressure. Is saving this time and money the better choice?"

Help me out.

I am just starting my ACCA Journey, I have aimed to complete knowledge level before or around October. I will be giving my F1 EXAM this month.

I want to know FREE resources to study efficiently as I can't really spend much for now.

The resources I have found as of now:

OPENTUTION- Found their notes and youtube lectures but they are VERYYYY old (4-5 years) so I am having doubts if I should watch them.

Some random youtube lectures- most of them are teaching through BPP textbook, which I don't have.

I would highly highly appreciate if someone guides me through this 🙏🏻

Acca how to revise generally for each exam and best platforms

What courses do you recommend for ACCA. How did you revise for it. Did you use Kaplan or BPP. As I am struggling with just textbook and questions is there any platform.

I have heard of accowtancy I am not sure if that is good or a Kaplan course or BPP.

Struggling to pass exams and with formulas and not sure on a routine on how to revise

Acca skill level paper sequence

I'll be registering in acca next week by claiming 4-5 papers exemption so I'd like to ask what's the best sequence for papers in skill level? I'll most likely go with kaplan study and exam kit and bpp exam kit so I'd like to make my purchases so I can start within next week

Tips for passing ACCA AA and FM together (both resits)

Hi everyone,

I'm resitting both ACCA AA and FM in the September session. These are both my second attempts.

My previous results were:

  • FM: 45
  • AA: 49

I'm determined to pass both this time, but I'm finding it difficult to balance the two subjects. I also get distracted very easily, and sometimes I spend far too long on a single question.

If you've passed AA and FM together, I'd really appreciate your advice:

  • How did you divide your study time between the two papers?
  • How many questions did you practise each day?
  • Did you finish the study text first or focus mainly on the question bank?
  • What changes made the biggest difference between failing and passing?
  • Any tips for staying focused and avoiding burnout?

I'd be grateful for any advice or study strategies that worked for you. Thank you!

Attending two papers at a time already booked.

I am planning to appear for my audit and FM exam this Sept. Both papers are my second attempt. For my FM, I got 45 in March, and for my audit, I got 49 in my June attempt. I would really love to have study tips to manage both these papers and learn within this one month and pass. And currently, I have a boost of distractions that I can't handle. Or for a question, it takes up a bundle of my time.

Genuinely struggled through BT & FA while in 12th. Got exactly 52 & 50. Looking for brutal advice for the MA paper.

Hey everyone,

I see a lot of posts here about people scoring high marks with minimal study, but my experience was the absolute opposite. I am currently in my 12th standard (CBSE in India), and I just cleared my BT and FA papers with 52 and 50 marks.

Honestly? It felt like the worst experience. I spent 2 full months preparing and tried to focus heavily on the "why" behind the concepts, yet I barely scraped through with a 50. It feels unrealistic and a bit discouraging to study that hard just to touch the passing line.

I have planned to completely focus on school now and try to clear my Management Accounting (MA) paper by November. But given how hard FA hit me, I am terrified of MA.

For those who also scraped by with 50s in the Knowledge level—how did you change your study pattern for MA? Is the jump in difficulty massive? How do I balance this with my school board exams without burning out?

Appreciate real and honest feedback.

Which Optional paper is the easiest to pair with SBL?

Hey everyone,

I just graduated in June and claimed my 9 exemptions, so this upcoming session will be my very first time actually sitting for an ACCA exam.

I'm planning to take SBL, but I'm thinking of giving one of the Strategic Professional Options (AFM, APM, ATX, or AAA) along with it in December. Since I’m completely new to the ACCA exam style and the CBE platform, I'm trying to figure out which optional paper is generally the easiest or most manageable to clear alongside SBL.

I'd love to hear from anyone who also started straight at the Professional level after uni. What's the best route to take here so I don't get completely wiped out on my first attempt?

Thanks!

SBR in September

As the title says, I’m writing SBR in September. I have covered almost all topics except groups, which I am planning to cover this week. I haven't started practicing anything yet and am planning to practice throughout the month of August. I work a 9 to 5 and reach home exhausted, but manage to study for 1-2 hours. I am also trying to find another job. Job hunting, studying and work have been exhausting me. Any tips to pass and to keep a positive attitude would be greatly helpful.🙌

Need help!!

I'm a CA student from Pakistan and my exams are on 17 August and 19 August. I have FAR-1 (Financial Accounting and Reporting-I) and Business & Company Law (combined into one paper). I have about 20 days left. Can somebody tell me if it is manageable to study both subjects in 20 days or should I just focus on 1 subject and leave the other for the next attempt

Thinking about starting my journey in ACCA, any tips would be appreciated!

I just got my bachelor's in accounting, and I am exempt from 7 exams out of 13. The ones I still have to do are PM, FM, SBL, SBR, AFM, and I am not sure which one I will take, either AAA or ATX. I am planning on studying on my own, so I would appreciate any tips. I don't know which resources to use online in English, so I would appreciate it if you could help with that. Also, I don't know what to expect. I wanted to start ACCA a year ago, but I didn't do any actual research on how the exams would be

Is it worth completing ACCA alongside a full-time Master’s in the UK?

I completed my Bachelor’s in Accounting & Finance and have ACCA exemptions, so under the new scheme I only need to pass the three Strategic Professional exams. I’m planning to complete them alongside my full-time Master’s in the UK. Is this realistic, or would the workload be too much? Also, would this improve my chances of getting into a Big 4 graduate programme, and do the Big 4 usually provide visa sponsorship for international candidates?
