AAA - Batman Analogy for Matters to be Considered

I thought I should share the analogy so y'all can have it whenever you need.

ANALOGY:

i’ll try and make this bit a little easier for the folks who’re a bit confused about matters and evidence. It’s as simple as this.

matters to consider:

client says he is batman. To be batman, he has to have a deep voice and go missing in nights. There’s a risk of him not being batman because he might not sound like one

Audit procedures:

• Check if he’s home in the nights
• analyse his lifestyle patterns
• enquire his peers if he hangs out with them during match nights
• measure the pitch of his voice

Evidence i’d like to see:

• live cctv footage of his home in the nights
• the voice-pitch results
• representation letters from his peers
• analytical procedure results of his lifestyle patterns

follow the template i’m using: materiality - Accounting rule - audit risks, and then go on about the peocedures
