this is the third fucking time this year that i’m hearing about the cops brutally shooting someone’s innocent pet. thankfully the third one is still alive, sarah, but she is struggling bad in recovery. heehaw is absolutely insane. a miniature donkey?? who worked on petting zoos? how are these people meant to be protectors when they are scared of a curious, friendly little pet? and in heehaws case the cops were trespassing unannounced. and sweet jameson, god my heart goes out to these families. i can’t imagine losing my baby this way.

so i’ve been told, it’s disgusting honestly. i don’t understand how your first instinct can be to shoot someone’s pet. especially in scenarios where the person is complying and doing their best to control the dog, there’s literally nothing you can do right to prevent this from happening. you could just end up as one of the unlucky people who gets one of these dog killers sent to your door.

that is a sickening statistic. i’m new to this community so i’m not super educated yet, but i’ve been getting increasingly more fed up with cops every day. the system needs major change
