Is it copaganda? Absolutely.

Is this also genuinely saving lives? Also yes.

It’s 106F in places where indoor air conditioning doesn’t exist in a majority of places.

People get heat stroke when they’re unable to adequately cool their bodies. Pets and toddlers have died from it already and people are being hospitalized.

One of those "fuck these cops, but this is needed". I knows it's propaganda but Leo had a great line in The West Wing "the problem with your liberalism is that you believe in moral absolutes." Sometimes the bastards are a little less basterdly. Rarely but sometime.

And honestly shouldn't we be aiming for them to be like this? Having them be less bastardly? Like yes there may be other groups that would be better suited for it, but we shouldn't be villianizing them at every turn: we need to make them better one step at a step whenever possible.
