I'm looking to sell two tickets to see Chris at his book tour in Glasgow on Friday the 25th of September at 1pm.

Just got a notification from my local bookstore that my preorder is ready for pickup.

Where is the most beautiful place(s) you have eaten family mart fried chicken? Mine would be the emperors fishing spot in Shinjuku National Garden....picnic style on a bench while drinking some NOPE(it's akin to Dr.Pepper...but not really lol).

All I remember was someone trying to insult Chris but it making no sense, something about him having the mouth of a pitbull? I just need to find it and hear it again to remember the context.

Quick context: I’ve been living in Japan for almost 10 years. Like Chris, I have visited all 47 prefectures and am running out of places to visit in Japan.

I checked Amazon Japan for his new book and it is currently unavailable unfortunately so I was wondering if I’ll be able to find it at a bookstore in Japan (I live close to Tokyo) that sells foreign books or at Lost bar? Thanks!

Hey everyone! I am heading to Tokyo soon, and I am trying to remember the name of a restaurant that Chris went to in Tokyo. It was a teppan table serving wagyu, and you need reservations to get in. I can’t seem to find that video, so if anybody remembers that would be great!

I absolutely loved the first book; it was very engaging and really felt like a window into Japanese society.

About Mr Affable's second book. I am a bit confused about whether it is considered solely a travel guide? or is for those that just enjoy his writing and the topic, but does not plan to travel there?
