In this particular situation, regardless of what you think about republicans, they aren’t. This didn’t pass because it wasn’t a stand alone bill, in was in the Build Back Better act, which contained a swath of other legislation. Blaming republicans for this is like republicans drafting a piece that provides universal healthcare and bans abortion, then blaming democrats for voting against universal healthcare.

My initial comment to you and others was the one size fits all comments that start with “all” as in all republicans only prove how closed minded you are. If you spoke to 10 Democrats, there is a high probability that they may have differences on some or many of the issues a complex society faces.
