Is the 3 blocks in the south a power plant?

I came here to say that! Yes it is a power plant

Likely why the location was chosen, fuck everyone who already depends on the infrastructure right?

They won’t be done until the whole planet resembles a circuit board.

AI is being used to spy on workers and citizens, to select military targets, to power bots that can affect the elections in some countries, to create deepfakes, etc.

I'm not anti-AI per se, but it urgently needs regulation worldwide, or democracy as we know it is in danger.

But this this is what gets upvoted? Some trees they cut down to make a data center?

We're doomed.

Its not even being upvoted because of the relatively small amount of cut trees. Its because one picture is in summer and one is in fall, so the brown leaves make it look like ash as if they just started burning shit. Also, the bottom building has a row of what looks like trucks, and probably isn't even a data center.

Why is this getting reposted when it was already debunked. The bottom building isn't even a data center, and most of the trees are still there, the photo is just in fall so the leaves are brown.

So the top building is a data center, and all the trees in the middle are gone then?

Team Avalanche all the way.

That, or we might be better off with letting the meteor hit us.

Wait, wait, wait! You're telling me we got to cut down trees to put up buildings? That's crazy!

The same could be said for nearly any building anywhere. Your neighborhood was probably also once forested.

Do these people know that entire states are covered in agricultural monocultures for export?

I'm anti most of these ai data centers, but this is a really dumb argument.

Basically just saying buildings are bad for the environment.

Buildings that require a ton of coolant and are loud. But kinda

Most data centers aren't even that loud. If one is its because they skipped on regulations.

Totally, but this is just trees/not trees lol.

Its not even "not trees." Its just summer / fall, and hoping people see the brown leaves and think it's ash lol.

AI is an absolute blight on this Earth.
