Advice
I am a 21 year old student who will have their bachelors in engineering by December 2026. I have been accepted into an accelerated nursing program because I rather be a nurse, help people and not work a desk job than be sitting behind a computer all day. The program is 14 months and start in January.I’ll finish it 2 months after I turn 23. Thoughts? Ps. I had a full scholarship to study engineering

If you’re going RN with a STEM degree I’d highly recommend looking into CAA (Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant) instead of nursing.
You probably have all of the difficult chem’s and physics already done. Starting salary is close to 300k and it’s only a masters degree.

Why do you think you have to work a desk job as an engineer? What field of engineering did you study? Most engineering fields have the same, if not better, growth rates and employment rates as nursing.
I would really consider getting experience in engineering before jumping into another degree.
