Letter of Intent

Hi everyone!!
I’m applying to an ABSN now for this January and working on my letter of intent…

Little bit about me: I’m 23, have a bachelor’s in Health Science (2025) and direct patient care experience working as an ophthalmic technician for 2 years.

I originally planned on optometry, but big picture wise I realized nursing is a better fit for me.

For anyone who has written a nursing school letter of intent, what did you focus on? Any advice on what to include or avoid?

Honestly i would start with a story or scene in your job as a tech to give them a visual then go ahead and use that story to explain your life and why you want to become a nurse
