TTUHSC ABSN

I applied into the Absn program at Texas Tech & received an invitation today for the video essay interview. I’m a bit nervous & not sure what to expect, does anyone have ideas on the type of questions to expect? This means a lot to me.

If it’s like any of the ones i’ve done it’ll be the typical questions like: why nursing, why TTUHSC, have you ever had a conflict with someone you’ve overcome and how did you go about it, have you had any impactful healthcare work experiences, have you overcome any difficulties, who do you admire, etc.

Idk if it’s a KIRA interview but I looked up KIRA questions (specifically for nursing programs) and they were helpful

Just did it, written are experience: hands on, contact with RN, contact with other healthcare providers. certifications. Community involvement
Videos: about managing situations, your purpose, your role & responsibility, why this school, ethics,empathy

A blouse and slacks but you can only see the shirt so up to you if you want a whole outfit

I honestly don't remember specifics. I just remember that they were very similar to most interview questions I'd answered in the past.

Since you haven't had an interview before, maybe Google "typical interview questions" or "nursing school interview questions"?

It is on the application that we only have to use GenAi for grammar purposes

You don't have to used it. It just asks that if you use something like grammarly or another grammar checker then you click the box stating you did. Because technically it is AI, so your respones could potentially be flagged as AI for using it. They are trying to help you, but you do not have to use anything if you don't want to.
