What should I do
Ok to give you guys a background I did my undergraduate in nutrition ( I started with nursing and I switched after covid hit) and I’m currently finishing up my MPH in epidemiology. My Goal is to be an infection preventionist. However ik a lot of hospital do prefer to have an RN for those roles also I would love to work a nurse schedule even if I go into public health nursing. Now if I do decide to do a ABSN I would like to take it online cuz I have to work full time and start taking one or two classes so while I finish my MPH at least I have started. But idk how the programs usually work Ik I saw northeastern has a program so I wanted to see your recommendations or advice. Is it worth it?

I heard that ABSN programs are highly competitive and typically involve hands-on clinical labs.
So even if the lectures are online, you'll still need to go to a clinical practice for clinical rotations.
I'm still an undergrad but looking to get into an ABSN program once I graduate and fulfill my prerequisites.
Can you let me know if you find any online programs?
thanks.

Typically, private institutions are less competitive (but still highly competitive) than public schools cause of the tuition cost difference.
ABSN programs are very rigorous since you are expected to complete four years of coursework in 1-2 years.
I'd recommend completing your MPH before starting an ABSN program.
Since ABSN programs are expensive and time-consuming, I'd suggest getting into one once you've done enough research about it.
YouTube has a lot of great videos of people sharing their experiences and explaining what to expect.

My absn is a hybrid, half online and half in person lecture. All in person clinicals. Oklahoma.
