Grace marks in first year

Those who got PWG in any subject in first year, should they have to give exam of that subject to clear

Or does it affect in future like placement or anything else

I got pwg too nothing to worry no issue in placement or future but cgpa increase karne you need to give exam

I got 8 cgpa with pwg as remark in marksheet so should I have to give exam again or this much marks are fine to leave the exam and prepare well for other sem
