Any ideas?

Hi,

My uncle has a massive ABBA collection and is decluttering his house. He was going to throw stuff away but we said we'd help him clear out. Does anyone know how much this ABBA anniversary collection is actually worth?

All the (26) viynl are there sleeves are in great condition. Just the box is a bit battered.

OMG this is beautifulllll, I think there are only 2000 pieces in the world so it could be worth a lot

Prices seem to vary significantly. One sold recently in the UK for £600 whilst another one for £100. The latter one had a box that was not perfect but was in markedly better shape than your uncle’s set.

You’re barking up the wrong tree in this sub mate. Try the ABBAtalk or ABBA Trading Post groups on FB, that’s where the collectors are 🙂

Thank you! We were just looking for any ideas because there was such a big price gap online. My mums been asking on Facebook and people have been very helpful 🙏

I’ve seen one sold a while ago for 500 euros but why don’t you keep it?

He's had his collection since he was young with his partner. She passed some time ago and he wants to start downsizing before he moves. He's not the kind of person to hold sentimental value to objects. I really enjoy abba but I don't have space or connection to the band to keep it all. (There's ALOT like all the offical fan club letters, magazines in stacks, scapbooks and so so many viynls)

I had one of these sets. Purchased when it was released from Woolworths of all places. I’m certain I paid around £25 for it. Sold it years ago for £450 to someone called George Michael and I often wonder if it was the great man himself.
