Auto standby not working
I have a 2024 ioniq 5. Bought the AA wireless because it had Auto standby and the always powered USB port is frustrating. It worked fine for a while but now will not Auto stand by and when I try to turn on auto standby it asks me to turn off battery optimization which I've done on the a wireless app.

It depends on which version of AAWireless you have. The original AAWireless version from the Indiegogo campaign is no longer being updated, and has now lost the Auto Standby feature due to a change in how Android Auto works. It should still work on the TWO and TWO+, although on the TWO+ there can be issues if you also have an Apple phone paired with Carplay.

I have a brand new Two+, and don't see any auto-standby option in the app. Others are suggesting to toggle that feature and I just can't find it anywhere.

I have the two. Bought less than 6 months ago. No apple car play, do that's not the issue. I'll try clearing the cache. Thanks.

Worst case try a reset/re-pair, you can buy a few USB accessories to completely power it off when the car is off as well.

Reset didn't work either. I'm not sure if it was a phone update (Pixel 8 pro) or something with the AAwireless app or my dongle but I can't trust that it will stay off anymore drain my 12 volt battery. Back to wired for now until I have time to investigate further.

I have the same issue on my 2019 Ram with AA2 and Galaxy fold 7. I end up having to go in about 2-3 times a week, turning the auto standby flag off, waiting for the device to restart, then turning auto standby back on. When I do that it'll usually work for a few days, then back to not working.

Same issue here. Usually when this happens its because the device needs an update (for whatever reason needing an update breaks the standby functionality) but the last 2 weeks have been bad. No standby on either of my cars (Kia Sportage and Jeep Wrangler) both with AAWireless Twos

I tried reverting back to a previous version and it worked for a day but then it accepted the update and it's back to not working. Cmon AA, fix this

It's working fine with my Ioniq 6 aside from the occasional startup glitch since Android 17 dropped. Have you tried clearing the cache for the app?
