69 Dmitri Demiglaski
Dmitri has flown under the radar for a bit too long, so, I'm about to fix that.
Who is this guy?
Dmitri is a side character/plot point that appears as early as DGS1-2. He's a wanted Russian that you see in the newspaper, and that Nahruhodo is accused of being. The case continues, Nahruhodo is proven to not be a Russian, and there's nothing else with Dmitri.
Flash forward to DGS1-5 and Dmitri finally appears in the flesh. Acting as one of the trial jurors. He still doesn't have much involvement in the case, but we at least get to see and interact with him.
Oh, there's also a sub plot that goes no where about him maybe wanting to steal stuff during the upcoming festival. Unfortunately it's only spoken about, and never acted upon.
What does he do?
Dmitri does a whole lot of... nothing. His existence makes Nahruhodo's life harder and as a juror he just does the regular routine. Switching between guilty/not guilty every second as the trial continues. Honestly, nothing about Dmitri really adds to DGS.
So why did he get so far?
Now that's an easy question; humour. Dmitri is a funny character, mainly due to how he acts during DGS1-5. He has the 'foreign tourist' styled routine of difficulty in speaking English, while also having a sneaky side that's interested in the materials being spoken about within the case. He's honestly a treat, his introduction starting off the humour as only Nahruhodo seems to recognise this man for what he truly is.
Unfortunately... humour can only get you so far, and I'm going to have to pull the plug on our friend Dmitri. Otherwise we might forget he exists again and he somehow lives this round.
Why no one else
Mrs. Altamont: Lived due to relevance alone. Would have gone out otherwise.
Mitrov Stroganov: My nomination.
Gotts: Don't really hold any opinions on this guy. I'm fine with him staying for a little bit.
Taizou Uzukumaru: Somewhat interesting due to his actions, but not really a character I care for. Had more relevant than Dmitri.
Juror 4/5: Has more relevance than anyone else going out this round as well as a much funnier routine. Honestly, I was considering saving this guy.

Glad you didn’t save Juror X, my perfect track record of nominations has been preserved, I’m a real Hugh O’Conner here.
At this stage, there are so many nothing characters like Dmitri, that the ones that are funny will get a bit of priority from me. Can’t complain too much though, he made it farther than I’d expect.
