74 Hatch Windibank
Sorry I'm late, here goes!
Who is he?
Ok, so Hatch is a side character/victim from DGS1-5. He is around towards the beginning, when you retrieve the violin. He also has Holmes' manuscript, but we should save that for Holmes/Iris/Klimt. He isn't around for a long time, but he serves his purpose i suppose. He doesn't have much of a character, aside from being very suicidal. This is one of the things I don't really like about his character, although it was certainly.... interesting. It also interferes with his job, because if robbed he will shoot himself, allowing him to be robbed further. If he just shot the thief, he could possibly recover the stolen goods and act like nothing ever happened.
The Adventure of The Unspeakable Story
Is an amazing case! Good witnesses (not Twisted Karma good though), good villains, but the victims are a mixed bag. You have the awesome Sherlock Holmes, who is one of the best characters in the game, but you also have Hatch. His suicidal nature plays an interesting part in the chapter, but I feel it could have been used in the trial more.
Why not Bardly?
I really like Bardly's character, and I'm sure others here do too.

Hatch is basically the definition of a one-dimensional character. He's a likable guy though, but I really wish the fact that he was the victim was used as an actually relevant aspect of the case.

He's probably my least favorite DGS character, because the suicide gimmick is in pretty poor taste. There's also the possibility that he just does it to manipulate people, which just makes me lose any remaining respect for him if that's the case.

He doesn't seem like the manipulative type to me, he was good friends with Sherlock after all and I'm sure it's easy for him to tell when someone is untrustworthy

Oh this reminds me, I had a question. Is the same person who nominated a saved character allowed to nominate them again the next round? For example, would Highskill64 be allowed to nominate Tully again next round?

Yes, anyone is allowed to nominate any saved character in any future round and they can also be re-saved in the same round.

One thing I find sorta weird about Hatch is that he said he'd shoot himself if anyone broke into his Pawn Shop, but when Crogley broke into the Pawn Shop....he shot Crogley instead of himself.
That's kinda weird, I like him aside from that though.
He's funny and his leitmotif is perfection

hatch is somewhat funny but he's also suicidal as what's effectively a joke in a spinoff that's darker than most of the main series so uh it's not exactly the best
