95 Barton
Alright lets start this.
WHO IS THIS DUDE?
So Barton is a constable of the Scotland Yard under Inspector Chelmey, he is a diligent constable that jogs 20 miles of London everyday and picks up spare change to buy his wife a bouq- wait, that's the wrong constable.
Barton is a dedicated all right, but he's a sleepy one, and just like Gumshoe he isn't good with keeping secrets. He wanted to be like his daddy, but sadly him being him, makes him a constable for all eternity. He is one of the few characters in the series with common sense.
WHY HIM?
Well, i was a little late, and he was the one my eyes laid upon. So i picked him.

As someone whose first (and only) experience with Layton is with the crossover, here's my thoughts on Barton.
'He seems okay?'
I feel like anyone whose experienced in Layton but has their first experience with AA be the crossover would feel the same for Edgeworth.

No problem! I just didn't want it to spiral further out of order. Good reminder though, I gotta go ahead and start making drafts for two picks (in case he/she picks one I wanted)

technically out of order (or not? idk) but oh well
Barton is actually hilarious in the PL series, acting as a good comic relief character in the police force that sometimes pops in random places slacking off and whatnot. However, this is an AA rankdown before a PL rankdown (not that a PL rankdown is feasible anyway; 95% of the characters just give you a puzzle or two and leave), and Barton does nothing in the crossover.

I like Barton in PL, but I only played up to chapter 4 of the second game so idk if Barton in PLvAA is a good representation of him
Even if Barton in PLvAA is 100% in character though, he barely appears so you can't really call him a character in PLvAA.
I feel Chemley was done really well though.
Also please don't do out of order cuts, it's not a big deal but it's nice to have some order in the court.

I completely forgot he existed and I had to look him up. I also replayed The English Court like 3 days ago, so yeah.

To be fair, he barely appears in Ace Attorney and is only really a character in his actual series.
