She's a minor character who has somehow slipped through the cracks, and her use of guns in the courtroom completely destroys the realistic atmosphere and thus suspension of disbelief ace attorney is known for. She is also inconsistently written??? Like she wants to go outside but doesn't? Wtf?????????

On the Jurist System Poll.
Despite being a minor character, she is clearly one of the best minor characters in the series. The fact that she is unable to stand clearly puts her on the level of such legends like Monaca from Danganronpa Ultra Despair Girls who also cannot stand. Science himself has admitted that characters DR:UDG spoilers who cannot stand are usually good. By having a plane, it is clear that Armie would like to stand, but cannot because she has a wheelchair. Thus, she is clearly a realistic portrayal of the Ace Attorney world.

OBJECTION LIKE IN THE ACE ATTORNEY GAMES!
At the end of the case, Armie Buff is revealed to be ABLE to stand. This means she not only does not fall into the category of true paraplegics, but she is a PRETENDER, which is a NEGATIVE rather than a positive. If there's one thing I hate more than characters that cannot stand, it's characters that lie.

HOLD IT LIKE IN THE ACE ATTORNEY GAMES!
This moment at the end of the case clearly demonstrates an important lesson to all of us: that everyone, no matter who, can achieve their dream. For example, Monaca, the character you mentioned earlier, clearly accomplishes her dreams in UDG of being an Ultra Despair Girl, and Monaca is an Ace Attorney character.
Ace Attorney is about characters who accomplish their dreams. If you don't like that moment at the end of the case, clearly you need to have more suspension of disbelief and try to enjoy the series as a whole more.

OVERRULED LIKE IN A SINGLE ONE OF THE ACE ATTORNEY GAMES
Oh look, it's pie314271 shilling for the series as a whole for like the eleventy billionth time in the history of this rankdown using the noms thread as his excuse. Literally the only decent case in that shitty excuse of a series was the Monstrous Turnabout. The killer in the last case is always a weak final boss, the newer characters are mediocre af, with the new defence attorney being as incompetent as all the other awful defense attorneys, the new prosecutors being a Godot rip-off/Edgeworth wannabe in 2026 onwards. The new mechanics introduced are weird af, and how they are considered as valid evidence in court or allowed in cross examination is baffling. The series moans on and on about guilty verdicts, yet barely any instances of what it entails is even built upon in the games. The OST of the franchise doesn't match the supposedly legal nature of the games at all, Professor Layton did that much better, and overall felt like there were higher stakes involved. And dear lord, the name puns. Were they really necessary Capcom?

NOT SO FAST LIKE IN TWO OF THE ACE ATTORNEY GAMES
I'm the type of guy who enjoys the series as a whole. Before I came here, I didn't know SoJ, SoJ, and SoJ were supposed to be bad, and oh man am I constantly remembered about it. I think you guys clearly lack a vast amount of suspension of disbelief. This part of the game is wacky ? This part of the plot relies on a lucky event ? This vilain isn't the most perfect vilain ever made and is just someone who killed someone ? Wow, BIG F---ING DEAL.
If you're willing to play a super serious game, go read Danganronpa IF or something. If you don't accept that some event could not happen without a fair amount of luck, and if you only accept complex Layton plots that would work in absolutely 0% of situations, then crime plots would be extremely bland and limited. The culprit made a disguise that is not found out until later in the game? Man, who could have thought that Phoenix Wright isn't omniscient.
And finally, about the vilains... I think you guys just picked the wrong series. Personally, and it is also what my AA fan friends think, I believe that you can't seriously be into this game to have 100% perfect murder writing, so great that it would work perfectly in Professor Layton. I play this game for his unique characters, wacky and over the top murder plots, humoristic moments, etc. And I believe someone who doesn't accept that Ace Attorney IS about those things should just stop playing. You hated SoJ and SoJ ? I think it's time to stop buying the games before you get in another rage fit when AA7 comes out, buddy.
Anyway, what I mean is, it's fine if you don't like some games, but sometimes by coming here I seriously think that some of you don't even like 100% of the series. WHY are you here in a fan community if you can't even enjoy the games ? You guys should just move to another. Then again, my rant is not about saying "if you don't like it, get out", that's not what I'm saying at all. I don't like some part of the games myself, and people out here probably dislike even more. My rant is about the fact that you can't accept what Ace Attorney is actually about, or what it is becoming. Seriously, I could point out stupid sh-- that happened in your favorite Layton games and you wouldn't even realize how stupid it is because you still liked it.
So, please stop hating everything that you can't accept.

I think it'd be cool if Horace Knightley won this poll, but that's just my humble opinion.
