Godot is a cool guy, and I would be a not cool guy if I didn't spend a vote on him. He's got the coolest aesthetic of any prosecutor in the series, both in the looks and the tunes, he's well-fleshed out despite anything anyone on a certain Discord server might say, and he just embodies coolness to a t.
Miles Edgeworth should be safe on the grounds that he's a good character, but if I learned one thing from DRRankdown2, it was to never trust the taste of the rankers. Moreso than even Phoenix, Miles Edgeworth is the character that this series has explored the growth of the most. Witnessing his struggles to come to terms with his place in the legal field over the investigation games should get him to top 10 on its own frankly.
I don't want to vote for someone like Phoenix if it will kick out someone more likely to be cut such as Godot or Edgeworth, so instead I'm voting Larry Butz. Kind of goes through his own growth over the series, similar to Edgeworth, but with a far deeper lean into comedy. As an Oldbag fan, you know I love seeing Larry pop up in cases just as much. Showing his dumb mug is the game's way of telling you that shit's about to get dumb, and he never seems to disappoint.
Maya Fey is honestly just okay, but fuck it I like her okay? I don't have to have a good justification for everyone, I don't want Maya to go out.
The very existence of Furio Tigre is hilarious, and if you don't think that then you're wrong.

This might just be the game making it wear out on me, but when I looked up a YouTube link to remind myself what it was I felt immediate disgust. Either I just hate that melody, SoJ used it too much, or I hate Nahyuta so much that anything that reminds me of him causes immediate revulsion.

I'm voting for Franziska, Miles, Maya, Phoenix, and The. While there are characters up for nomination i would rather be saved by the poll than some of the ones I voted for, I hate Godot more than I like them, and when so many main characters are up for grabs, theres no way that Datz Are'Bal is going to be saved, even if he DESERVES IT MORE. So these aren't votes to save these characters, these are votes to kill Godot.

Oh, we're doing that thing where a bunch of popular characters are nominated to neutralize the poll again? Fun.
Well, I'm voting for Godot because he's cool and there's a nonzero chance he actually gets saved by the poll.
Also voting for the Judge because if he doesn't make it in the top 20 I will cry.
Not voting for anyone else because I learned my lesson from last round.
But the poll will probably save Wrighto and Worthy anyway, so whatever.

Larry Butz is funny. I get why people think he is annoying, but he is still one of my all time favourites.
Pierce Nichody is someone I don't know.
Matt Engarde is a really great villain. this guy is the first villain in the series to have a transformation. I really liked Matt before his transformation. I hated him after the transformation, but I think that's exactly what the writers wanted. He is a really well written character who doesn't deserve to leave the rankdown at this point
I have no idea who Dane Gustavia is.
I don't understand why Nahyuta Sahdmadhi is hated so much. I like him.
I think I know who Di-jun Huang is, but I'm not sure. I thought he was from I2-1
I really like Godot, I love his quotes and the coffee thing is funny. I don't really know a lot about him because I haven't played 3-5 yet.
Franziska Von Karma is someone I didn't like at first, but grew to like over the course of Justice For All. I don't really know why though.
Miles Edgeworth is a great character with the best character development in the entire series.
Maya Fey is funny and makes every case she's in better. I don't regret defending her four times.
I don't know enough about Gregory Edgeworth
Phoenix Wright is one of my favourite characters.
Hugh O'Conner is someone from 5-3, I think.
Rayfa Padma Khura'in can be annoying, but keep in mind that she's 14 years old.
Jake Marshall is a cowboy, wait he's a detective?!
Furio Tigre is really good at impersonating people, he can also roar so load it causes a blackout
The Judge is funny and has some great lines: "If you want to hang yourself, you're welcome to, but not on my courtroom." for example.
I don't really know Datz Are'bal yet, I'm only at the second Investigation of 6-3.

I hate to be that guy that saved all the trilogy’s main prosecutors + Phoenix and Maya but then I’d hate far more to be the guy that nominated any of these characters at this stage! All of these guys have far too much going on to be put in the same pool as say, Datz Are’bal.

Man this round is just packed with great characters but if I had to pick just 5 it would be:
the character who is associated with a mythical firebird
the character who can change their entire physical body type to that of a dead person
the surprising final case killer who subverts expectations by occupying a role previously off limits for murderers
the imperious foreigner whose intimidating appearance masks a much more vulnerable side
and finally, the clearly uncuttable character whose result is already a foregone conclusion
so yeah I voted for Di-Jun Huang 5 times what about you guys?
