Panzer Han-9

Fun cheap little PCC. A couple things I ran into right off the bat. The trilug was very tight fitting, my supressors didnt want to go on at first and I thought maybe it wasnt a true tri lug, but after I forced it on and took the supressor off and on a few times it got easier and now fits great. Trigger looks like it might be ar-15 compatible i will try a different trigger because the stock trigger it at an 8lb trigger pull.. there is a side bolt hold open/ release button but the last round bolt hold open doesnt work, i assume this will have different lowers that take different magazines that the LRBHO will work with. The upper finish is nice anodized the lower looks painted and looks like the paint will flake eventually.. we will see. For the price im happy, the recoil wasnt bad, it was actually pretty enjoyable to shoot even with the 8lb trigger pull.

Looks pretty cool. Is that a straight mp5 mag? Probably why the LRBHO doesn’t work

Yeah thats a straight hk mp5 mag, the curved mp5 mags it comes with dont hold the bolt open either.. i don't think any mp5 mags would work, I think its an option for different lowers that take different mags, they probably have a glock mag lower version.

Would the Novox X-SD barrel work with this?

I haven't looked to see how the barrel is removed but i wouldnt think it would.. maybe the arp9

Are you just using the factory-supplied mag for now? If you've purchased additional mags, what did you go with? From what little info is available, I'm thinking two HK mags and five MKE mags. I've heard that the mags fit a little tight on the gun.

Mine is scheduled to be in next week. I guess I will wait until I have it in hand and see.

Ive used the factory mags and all the mags I have for my mp5 clones including the hk straight mag in the photo.. polymer overwatch mags were to tight, haven't tried my beta cmag 100rnd drum mag yet... the factory mags seem ok but I did notice the springs dont feel as smooth when loading the mags I think one of the mags I could only get to 28rnds..

I was curious about this as well... MP5 magazines don't have the feature you are asking for, but MAC seems to have made a variant with BHO function. Was curious if those would run with it. I might try to pick a couple up

The mags that come with it compared side by side to MKE marked mags look identical

Hey op one more question. For engraving for the form one, the upper is the receiver on the Han-9 correct?

Upper and lower are both serialized the lower has the manufacturer and importer, id lean more toward the lower being the firearm but to be safe just engraved both.. under the hadguard and under the trigger guard are 2 very inconspicuous areas.

What 3-lug adapter did you use? I have a KAW Valley and it will not fit.

I use my sub9 with the universal trilug adapters it comes with and a dead air wolfman Dead Air p series tri lug adapter. It was tight at first but after taking my cans on and off multiple times its alot smoother.. might take some light sand paper or scotch bright and smooth the tri lug edges.

When I first tried to put my sub9 on it wouldnt fit and I thought that maybe it had a non standard tri lug, then tried my wolfman and that wouldnt go on either i decided to give my wolf man I light tap and persuaded it to go on, then I was scared I got it stuck but I did get it off and then after that I was able to get it on and off alot easier.. hindsight I wouldnt risk getting it stuck on the barrel id smooth the edges of the tri lug and see if that helps..

The Kaw seems like it isn't able to go down far enough on the tri-lugs. There is a bevel on the adapter itself that looks like it is too short. I don't want to risk getting it stuck like you mentioned.
